This is the third volume in a three-part series, originally sold in a boxed set with three separate novels.

I don't know how to start this... everything was SO perfectly lined up!! I KNEW DERRY WAS HANT! I KNEW IT! I suspecteded it when we found out that V was Nissa. I am surpised that Nissa is V! I don't really like the ending though, where Straw is like still alive and Num, Nissa and Derry have forgottened who they are. NOOOO! I want the El to maybe bend the second rule, and allow the three to rememeber, in payment for not starting a war. I don't know why but I makes me feel.. ARRGH!!! THEY SAVED LANDOVEL!! There should be even maybe a story written for them, about "The Legendary savers of Landovel," or something like that. I also didn't like Straw's ending. The ending was not that good for me. Anyways, I kind of feel sorry for Greville, because he was just living a lie himself, and he did have a heart of gold (well, at least Derry's Greville did?). This story just lines everything up SO nicely!

You know a series is good when you never want it to end. Landovel was an absolute joy to read, after growing up in the land of Deltora Quest, reading this series was like coming home. The characters, the world building the plot twists - everything was mystical and magical. 5 stars for all the books!!
A very irresponsible decision to stay up and read, but the temp is not sufficient for sleeping so at least I was entertained. Some twists I had known, and simply enjoyed the reveals. Others were interesting and different. I feel it fleshed out the other two books well, I am a big fan of the full circle motif.
it felt like the book dragged a little to the end, but it was over all it was lovely getting to know the characters within the landovel series and sad to see it end
