Sylvie and Ford are colleagues and have been friends since college. Sylvie would like to take their relationship further, but Ford has shown no sign of interest. In an attempt to move on, Sylvie joins an online dating service. He first two attempts at dating are disastrous. Then, Ford begins to show some interest in her, or is that just wishful thinking on her part?
If you have read and enjoyed the previous four books in the Connor Brothers series, you won’t want to miss this sweet, easy read. True to her usual form, Sylvie interjects a lot of humor throughout the story. It is a short book that will have you laughing out loud. I highly recommend it.

This book 5 in the Connor Brothers Book series has well crafted characters that are interesting. It is a well-written holiday romance with an alpha man and bold and sassy woman. These characters are well-developed in this story and you fall in love with them. The chemistry is instant with these two and the story flows smoothly and is great sweet and sassy story. A Must Read HEA with no cliffhangers. This is a holiday story filled with humor, a fledgling toy company, dating fiascos, cute kids, puppies, and two people who don’t realize they’re perfect for each other. Fans of Hallmark movies will love this delightful, hilarious Christmas novel featuring a leading man who has the hunky lumberjack look down pat.

A Small Town Christmas Romance/Connor Brothers Book five a well written Christmas story with a very good storyline. I enjoyed reading Ford and Sylvie's story of two people that finally admit what they want. Her Christmas gift from Ford is Mistletoe, and Tinsel, you will have to read this book to find out what that is. This is a new Author to me, and I want to read more by her. Sylvie and Ford have been friends since college and now work together. Both have had crushes on each other, but are afraid to ruin their friendship and more if it goes bad. The characters are great together, but some miscommunication sets them back. The neighbor and her two kids go from possible trouble to feeling like family, especially during the sledding fun. The kids also have a litter of dogs that will be ready to adopt by Christmas. Intense feelings skyrocket once Sylvie and Ford are together in a romantic relationship and her Christmas presents couldn't be better.

Now partners with best friends Daisy and Jacob in Cherry On Top Design Agency they are tasked with working together on a toy company's account. But Sylvie soon realizes Ford is never going to make a move so she signs up for a dating service, with interesting results.
This is a short novella that could have used more depth and development of the love story.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t the holiday book I was looking for. The Christmas vibes were almost non-existent and there was too much focus on the toy advertising project. Also, the pace of the romance wasn’t convincing for me. After months/years of having a crush on each other they started dating, but there was no physical relationship at all (not even sharing a kiss after weeks).

This was a cute little novella. I really enjoyed it but the end seemed a bit abrupt ... This book tells us the story of Sylvie and Ford. They’ve known each other for years. They work together. Each feels for the other but are afraid to spoil the friendship. Sylvie decides to try internet dating but nothing comes of it until she seems to find the perfect pair... If you want to know more you must get the book. It was a good fun read.

Maybe it's the fact that I haven't read any of the other books in the Conner Brother series, but this novella, though sweet, fell flat for me.
Ford is the perfect man: great sense of humor, hard worker, great with kids, devastatingly handsome...pretty much the total package. Sylvie is genuinely a good girl, which you can't help but love, but they were a little too perfect for me. I was craving a little more real in the characters themselves and the situations in which they found themselves in. It was just a little too Hallmark for me as far as perfection, and very little development and depth with Ford and Sylvie.
Though they've been friends forever, their relationship felt rushed, I think due to a lack of details about their past. We didn't get to experience their earlier interactions which makes their situation now feel like it's on fast forward.
Though sweet, it was a little too saccharine for this gal. Normally I love these type of clean romances, so maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind to read Mistletoe, Tinsel and You, but honestly I think I would still want more depth, especially in the relationship department, and maybe have less of the business aspect of the story. There were times I felt like that was more of the focus than the relationship!

Too Much Emphasis on Business
This book was peculiar. Right from the start, I felt like the emphasis was on the business aspect and the project the couple would be working on for their small design company. That persisted throughout the book, to the detriment of the romantic arc. In fact, I didn't feel like there was much of a romantic arc at all compared to what was stated about business and the project. I also felt the business part was too jargony. Kudos to the author for doing research, but I felt like I didn't understand certain parts of the book because I didn't know enough marketing/business jargon. Perhaps because of the emphasis on focus groups and business, I never really felt any connection or chemistry between the couple. As such, the book fell flat for me.

Wow! I loved this story line about Sylvie and Ford! I'm so glad too that Ford finally realized how he felt about Sylvie! What I love ❤️ most of all about your books is that you don't leave out the perfect ending! Not only that they wind up getting married but also are expecting a baby!

This one was so cute! This was another book I listened to on the way to NC. It's an angsty rom com where they're both oblivious until they're not, but a misjudgment on her part puts a small wall between them. After clearing things up, all is well and they end up with 2 very adorable puppies from the neighbors that he babysits for everyday.

I loved Sylvie and Ford's story. They have a really sweet chemistry together. I really enjoyed their project with the toy company and all of the kids. This is a really sweet, clean romance.
