My goal in life is to never be typecasted, especially as the "fat best friend". My first acting gig, I played the older sister on a hit tween TV comedy. And before I could be typecast as the quirky big sister, I quit to join a huge crime franchise as a villain for a season.
Now, it's my turn as the leading lady in a new Korean-American romantic comedy called Perfect Fit.
I won't let anything, not even my sexy co-star, get in the way of crushing this role.

Since K-dramas became all the rage in the west, my name went from "might be on social media trends" to "Sexiest Man Alive" almost overnight. And to be honest, I'm kind of sick of it.
My next role is also a leading man, but more of a "grumpy" type as opposed to my usual "golden retriever" characters. I feel things are looking up.
Then I meet my co-star, and all common sense flies out the window.

2.5 stars rounded up. I liked the plot and characters, but something felt off. The spice was somewhat jarring. Nothing against the author but it felt like a distraction and unnecessary - 2 scenes in such a short story. I was looking for a deeper emotional connection between the characters.
