She Wants To Dance With Somebody Who Loves Her.

Five years after her divorce shattered her world, Leah Stahl is still piecing her life back together. Betrayed by her husband’s affair and estranged from her children, she’s channeled her pain into a new career as a divorce attorney, fighting to help other women get the justice she never received. But even as she builds a new life, her heart feels stuck in the past—until a surprising Christmas gift sets her on an unexpected path.

Marco Cabrera has been a widower for nearly three years, burying himself in his work to avoid the ache of loss. At the urging of his two caring but persistent daughters, he reluctantly agrees to step out of his comfort zone and take salsa classes. He never expects to meet someone like strong, guarded, and yet brimming with a quiet vulnerability that mirrors his own.

As Leah and Marco begin to find solace in each other—both on and off the dance floor—their connection deepens. But just as Leah starts to believe in the possibility of love again, her ex-husband returns, stirring up trouble. When her doubts tear them apart, it takes courage, honesty, and the support of those who love them to bring them back together.

Surprise surprise, look who ended up reading another MA book and loved it 👀

This was pretty short, a story about two people with a second chance at love. The mmc, Marco lost his wife whom he loved dearly. Now I know some of you wasn’t a fan of this trope but I on the other hand, didn’t mind it if it’s done right. The fmc, Leah dumped and divorced his narcissistic and cheating a$$ husband and estranged from her two children due to them siding with their father after the divorce.

I really liked the pacing of their relationship and the times they spent together with the dancing classes was really sweet. Marco was still struggling to move on from the loss of his wife and Leah was struggling with the effects of her ex husband’s verbal abuses. This second chance at love for them arrived at the perfect time. The way Leah’s presence in Marco’s life helped him to move on without feeling guilty about it and I loved the fact that Leah knew about his wife and didn’t make it about herself; that it’s okay to still remember and cherish someone he spent decades together while learning to fall in love again.

Marco wasn’t horrible like some MA mmcs; he’s not perfect but he’s actually really likable. Okay ngl in the beginning where he said something to Leah that really upset her and me the reader at the same time, I was so hurt for Leah but he realized that he’s wrong and quickly make amends and admitted that he was in the wrong and apologized. He stood up for Leah and made her feel loved and valued and respected.

Leah on the other hand, haven’t had it easy and I really felt for her insecurities and the way she had to deal with her terrible ex but thankfully her children finally came to realization who’s the real monster and fixed their relationship with their mother. I found her character very admirable. Even after everything that happened to her and albeit the insecurities eating at her head, she stood her ground and build up her life again with pride and hardwork. The way she immediately put up a wall between her and Marco after she sensed his hot and cold response because she wasn’t going to let another man let her down again. There was a lot of convincing to do before she finally realized she’s worthy of love and affection.

Overall it was an enjoyable read!

ehhh 🤔

Maybe enjoying her books was a one-time thing, or maybe it's because this is only a novella, and I think it needed more exploration? Who knows?

Anyway, I knew what I was going into when I read this. So the late wife that he truly loved is no longer a surprise but still made me less interested in the story, and that's on me, obviously. The constant comparison didn't make it any better. But maybe that's what people do when they experience having two great loves in their lives. Then again, I really have no clue.

Idk how to put it really, because Leah didn't seem like the second best to the late wife but wasn't on the same level as her either. She feels more like a new experience for Marco, someone who brings out emotions he never had with his late wife. But it still made me question if that was possible because, as he said, the wife was the love of his life.

Gotta give props to this author for still being able to make the MMC in a novella a grade-A jerk. And since this is short, the apology was unsatisfying AF.

Sure, the FMC played a part with their issues, but it was Marco who kept using Leah's insecurities against her, even though he knew how much she struggled with them. The hot and cold treatment in the beginning was annoying too. He's confused about the developing feelings he's having for her, as it seems he's betraying his late wife, so instead of dealing with it like a grown-ass man, he would snap at her and make her feel like crap. Oh, and let's not forget how he thinks she's pathetic all because she's not confident like his late wife. Like, bruh, they're two different people. Of course she's not going to be the same as your wife. Then at a later part in the story, he felt awful for thinking that way after he found out what she went through to get to where she is now.

Anyway, I could probably go on about how much this novella pissed me off, but I'm not going to. So I'm not rating it because this story is obviously not for me. Leah was too much of a pushover, and she needed to learn to grow a freaking backbone.

While it is not necessarily needed I suggest you read Kiss from a Rose first. This is where we first met Leah. Everyone was so taken with her we begged Maya Alden for her story and this book is that story.

I have no idea how you do it Maya Alden but it is safe to say you have done it again. I wanna dance is freaking amazing. I loved it from start to finish. What I loved most was the underlying message (at least this is what I took from it), that no matter your age or what has come before you are worth it, you are special and you deserve the world. The past does not need to be forgotten but accepted and that it ok to move on. That one relationship does not define you, that honor belongs to you.

I am sure this has been said before but I want to say a big thank you from me Author Maya Alden for writing real woman in real life situations. For reminding us that age is just a number (mine is 53) and like a fine wine we get better with age, and that anything is possible.

If anyone deserved a second chance at love and an HEA it is Leah Stahl. And Marco definitely ticks all the boxes. A great novella with just enough angst and other woman drama ( or in this case man) for it to be a classic Maya book.

Nothing memorable here unfortunately. I preferred the H Marco over the h Leah. H is a widower, and h is divorced. While there's lot's of mentions of his dead wife you don't feel like she overshadowed the story nor making the h second best. Just different. I did appreciate that both characters were in their mid to late 40s.

ARC review: Leah and Marco story is one of healing, finding love again while overcoming trauma and grief. Maya does an amazing job weaving thru Marco and Leah's feelings of loss and finding new love. I LOVE Leah's growth as she finds her confidence to fight for herself when for so long she fought for others... this story was warm, spicey and had some great ex drama... i couldn't put it down till I finished it!

I received an ARC, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. :)

5🌟 Short, sweet and all the emotional angst.

A second chance romance for a widower and a woman who's rebuilt herself aftr her ex left her with nothing.

Leah was...everything a woman aspires to be. Strong in the face of adversity, vulnerable and open even when life has taught her better. She was insecure and untrusting, but for good reason, and it took her time, but she overcame those challenges, wanting more for herself. I absolutely loved her, and the way she put her ex into place.

I wasn't so sure I was going to like Marco, especially after his initial date with Leah. But he turned it around so quickly, realizing what a gem she was for surviving the best way she knew how: with dignity and pride, even willing to make herself vulnerable again just for her kids.

This was a short emotional rollercoaster, and I loved it. There wasn't a huge betrayal, but the fact that Marco still took responsibility for his part in what happened and made the big grand gesture to show Leah he wanted her–flaws and all.

ARC Review:
I absolutely adored this book! I loved seeing Leah’s story after the way she helped Rose in Kiss from a Rose. She was awesome in that book and strong from the way she picked herself up after her husband cheated. I hated her ex in this book and just adored Marco! Marco was just the sweetest. I love a sweet and passionate male protagonist and he was that and more! He was just a positive force in Leah’s life. Every woman needs someone that loves them and builds them up and makes them stronger. I loved that for her! 🥰

Their chemistry was through the roof from the very first moment. Salsa dancing with a passionate Latino man…yeah, Leah was a lucky girl and found just what she needed with Marco. Yes, there were moments that broke my heart at times for what each of them went through, but for the most part they made me smile. If I was given to swooning, Marco would absolutely be swoon worthy. 😉

I also loved his daughters! I would like to know a bit more about Davis and Olivia as characters and some more background on her and her attitude. I’d like to learn more about Presley as well and where all of their brains were with their treatment of Leah. The side characters all kind of intrigued me, even if the highlight was of course, Leah and Marco.

Excellent book from Maya Alden as always! I thoroughly loved this book and it just made me smile. I also kind of want to sign up for a dance class with my husband now.💜

This is a novella but so well done. It’s not usually my favourite trope later in life second chance at love but Maya pulls it off beautifully.

H is a widow and h is divorced (husband was cheating on her) but she has become a successful divorce attorney.

They meet at dance lessons and it moves on from there. I loved the fact that they both had issues/things to work through because of their individual past relationships. Seeing Leah come into her own and stand up for herself in the bar scene with her ex husband was chef’s kiss. There were a few laughs out loud moments.

I love that the complexity of parent child relationships were shown and that getting into a real good space within those relationships even when there is love is not something that happens overnight.

For a novella it’s amazing that so much growth and feeling could be packed into it.

If you are looking for an easy enjoyable read this is it!

2.75 This one was a little…dare I say, boring? While I appreciate that this author puts out books so often, which I usually love, this one just kind of fell flat for me. Hopefully the next in the series will be better.

I gratefully received this arc for an honest review.
But I also pre-ordered this book because I love this author’s Modern Vintage Romance Series.

I have become quite addicted to his author’s books so I was so pleased to get an arc because I have been eager for Leah’s story since A Kiss From A Rose.
In this book we are reading about a mature couple (40ish) Yay!!!

We first saw Leah in A Kiss From A Rose.
She was Rose’s friend and lawyer.
I always felt that Leah never got her own proper HEA after being cheated on by her narcissistic ex hubby. I always had hoped that somehow she would get her happy ending and Maya Alden gives Leah a great story.
Poor Leah has struggled to build herself back up after her awful ex mentally destroyed her. Awful ex also made sure to turn her children against her. I just wanted her to find her happy!!
Marco is a widower who was desperately in love with his wife. He has raised two wonderfully supportive and mature daughters.

They initially meet at a dance class and are partnered together.
Leah is a tough as nails lawyer ( She returned to her practice just 5 years earlier when her jerk ex cheated on her). She is an amazing lawyer who has devoted herself to help women who find themselves in similar situations. So while Leah is an amazing lawyer she struggles with self esteem .. thanks to the jerk ex.

Initially Marco and Leah were cautiously interested in each other. Marco is a little put off by Leah’s self-effacing behaviour.
When they finally commit to each other Marco helps her find her inner strength. He was an incredibly supportive ( and rich) partner….
(Much to the consternation of her ex)!
It was wonderful seeing her children finally realizing how terribly they’ve treated her and then begin to make amends. Marco was not afraid to point out how poorly she was treated. His speech to the son’s girlfriend was perfection!!!
And it’s delicious seeing ex so terribly jealous of Marco. Jerk ex hated seeing Leah thrive.

There is a moment when old insecurities surface and Marco says some unkind things to Leah … but thankfully ( with the help of his daughters )…. Marco quickly gets his head out of his a** and makes amends.
Marco has been a widower for a little over two years and I was so happy Maya Alden didn’t make him out to be forever entangled in his dead spouse. He loved his wife, but with the encouragement of his daughters he found love again without wallowing in guilt.

It was a great story with mature characters that I will be rereading many times.
5 beautiful stars.
Thank you Maya Alden for writing the perfect story for Leah.

ARC Review: I Wanna Dance 💃✨

Tissues ready, people!! 😭 Maya has done it again, and I’m completely sobbing. 😭💖 I’ve read every book of hers, and this one? Pure magic. It’s a novella, but you won’t feel it because the story pulls you in from the first chapter. 🌟 Truly wish it was a full-length novel because I couldn't get enough of them.

Marco and Leah? I loved them so much. 😍 The first few chapters hit hard, I felt every ounce of their pain. But through all the tears, you could feel how perfect they were for each other. ❤️ It’s a second chance at love in their mid-40s, and let me tell you, this love story is EVERYTHING! 🌹

Marco is everything—supporting Leah, helping her work through her insecurities, and giving her the affirmation she needed. 😘 And Leah? She blossomed in a way that was so beautiful to see. 🌸 But, here’s the thing—Leah also brought Marco out of his shell. After losing his wife three years ago, he thought he’d never love again. Then, BOOM, Leah walks into his life and shows him that love after loss is possible. 🥺💕

I gotta say, Kevin—Leah’s ex—was THE WORST. 🙄 But even though I hated him, I loved how his presence pushed Marco and Leah to stand up for each other. 🔥 Kevin was such a pendejo, and seeing Marco and Leah show what true support looks like? Yes, please. 👏

Also, the salsa classes?! 🕺💃 Can we say INSANE chemistry? I’m talking way too hot to read, and I couldn’t get enough of them together. 🔥🔥🔥

What touched me the most was how Marco’s daughters supported him and Leah’s kids slowly began to understand her. The way they all grew together as a family was so heartwarming. 🥰

Honestly, I couldn’t stop smiling and crying with each chapter—this book just got to me in the best way possible. 😭💖

Favorite line? “She had the biggest heart. She wouldn’t be able to hold anything against me for too long, so I had to handle her heart and her trust with care.” 🥺💖

Also, I loved the names Señor Steel Toes and Carina?! 💣🔥 Total fire—one of the most beautiful stories Maya has ever written! 😍💕

Maya, if you read this, please, PLEASE keep writing stories like this. We need more of these beautiful, sassy, and heartfelt journeys! 💕✨

Salsa lessons give Marco and Leah a chance to learn much more than dancing. They learn to open themselves up to relationships and love again after the relationships they thought would last a lifetime end. It is not easy for either of them for very different reasons. Leah finally left and divorced her cheating husband after enduring years of him belittling and controlling her. The divorce cost her dearly monetarily, but the worst loss was her relationship with her children. They sided with their father and shut her out of their lives. She has made a successful career for herself in the five years since her divorce, but her personal life is rather barren and lonely. The salsa lessons were a gift from a friend who wanted Leah to get out and meet new people and have some fun.

Marco lost his wife three years ago and though he has had the occasional one night stand, he is loathe to think of dating, relationships or love. He is still grieving his wife and doesn’t think he could ever love again. The salsa lessons were a gift from his daughters who want him to have some fun and meet new people. He never thought that those lessons would help him find a second soulmate and teach him that it is okay to love again. Meeting the beautiful and reserved Leah turns out to be a blessing for both of them.

Their relationship is not without its bumps and hiccups, with both dealing with tumultuous emotions, fears and doubts. Marco fears that he is betraying his late wife and the love he shared by creating a new connection with Leah. After years of her ex’s body shaming and belittling, Leah is afraid she is not good enough for someone like Marco. He is a very handsome and wealthy CEO of an IT company, and she is a rather frumpy, past her prime divorce lawyer who is working hard to establish a successful law practice. Why would her want to be with her? They both have to let go of the past, which is much more difficult than they thought it would be, in order to embrace the present and build a life together.

This poignant and inspiring book is beautifully written and captivating. Marco and Leah effortlessly drew me into their heartwarming story and made it impossible not to love them. I will happily recommend this book to all lovers of romance.

This was such a beautiful and heartfelt story about second chances, healing, and finding love when you least expect it. It was a shorter read, but it packed an emotional punch. Marco is a widower still grieving the love of his life, and Leah is rebuilding herself after a painful divorce from a manipulative ex. Both of them are at a crossroads, trying to navigate the weight of their past while figuring out if they’re brave enough to open their hearts again.

Their relationship unfolded at just the right pace, and I especially loved how their dance lessons became a space for them to connect beyond words. Marco’s grief was handled in a way that felt authentic—he wasn’t expected to forget his late wife, but rather to learn how to move forward without guilt. And Leah? She was incredible. Strong yet vulnerable, she had been through so much, yet she refused to let it break her. The way she put her ex in his place and stood her ground after everything he put her through? Chef’s kiss.

I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about Marco at first—there’s a moment early on where he says something to Leah that made my heart ache for her—but the way he quickly recognized his mistake and made amends won me over. He saw Leah for the strong, resilient woman she was, and he made sure she knew she was valued, respected, and loved. That’s the kind of male lead I adore!

Their chemistry was electric from the start. I mean, come on—salsa dancing with a charming, passionate man? Leah was winning with that one. And while there were definitely moments that tugged at my heartstrings, their journey together was mostly warm, romantic, and filled with hope.

I also really liked the side characters! Marco’s daughters intrigued me, and I would’ve loved more insight into Leah’s kids and what was going on in their heads when they initially sided with their father. But in the end, seeing them realize the truth and rebuild their relationship with Leah was so satisfying.

Maya Alden has a way of making characters feel so real, and this book was no exception. It was emotional, uplifting, and left me with a huge smile on my face. If you love stories about resilience, love after loss, and characters who grow into the best versions of themselves, this is definitely worth picking up!

I Wanna Dance, part of the A Modern Vintage Romance series, was about 46-year-old Leah Stahl, a divorce lawyer, and 40-something-year-old Marco Cabrera, a widower who was an engineer and the CEO of MeSoft, an IT firm. (I deduced Leah's correct age when she mentioned in an inner monologue that she had met her ex-husband "28 years ago when I was a naive 18". Leah was also the BFF to Rose Rutherford, the FMC from the book titled "Kiss from a Rose", another book in the same series.)

Leah and Marco met at dance class after each had received dance lessons for Christmas, hers from her best friend/paralegal, and his from his daughters. Leah told him she had been divorced for five years with an estranged 24-year-old son, named Davis, and 22-year-old daughter named Presley, while he admitted to being a widower for the past three years and was the father of two daughters (23-year-old Isabella and 20-year-old Sophia). The attraction between them was instant, but with having been hurt or grieving in one way or another, they took their time in building their relationship.

Like most of this author's books, this story had plenty of angst, drama, spice, an emotional rollercoaster full of twists and turns, and conflict due to an ex interfering with their relationship. However, since this was a later-in-life love, it was nice to see the grown children rooting for their respective parents, as well as seeing the two main characters navigate through the pain of their pasts and find love again. The only drawback was where the grammatical errors or flaws bled through in an attempt to muddy the waters. But they weren't so prominent as to detract from the flow of the book.

Both main characters were well-developed and mature, with plenty of room for the growth they each needed. The support they got from the secondary characters was a bonus, and it was good to read some of the characters from other books again.

I gave this a four-star rating mainly because the author forgot the names of some of her characters from other stories when she included them, which was a bit disappointing, especially after having read those other books and being aware of the correct names. Other than that, it was a decent story.

A cute read about two people in their mid-to-late 40s falling in love. Most of the drama comes from Leah's ex and family, although there is some internal stuff with Leah's insecurity and Marco's fears about moving on from his late wife.

Honestly, I would have loved it a lot more if I'd gotten more about Leah's estranged kids. I get what the author is doing with her mothers and their kids, between this and Kiss From A Rose, but honestly, Leah's kids hadn't spoken to her or included her in anything for years because they decided to publicly take their cheating dad's side, and there was just no blow-back for that? I mean, she had very few on-page conversations with her kids at all, and it all felt very glossed over. Like, if the book is to be believed, all the kids would have had to do was say no to their father's money, and they weren't all that mad at their mom the whole time, but meanwhile their defection caused her a whole book of neuroses that she wouldn't have had to go through if they'd just, y'know, chosen her over their abusive, cheating father's money. I'm not saying she would have been perfect after what her ex put her through, but the book makes it pretty clear that her kids ignoring her for years hurt her a lot more than he did.

Sorry, but What's Up Doc? got this one right.

I did like the relationship between Leah and Marco, and thought this was a nice little refresher from the angst of the Best series, which I do overall love, but the last couple of books have felt like a little... too much.

Another great read by Maya Alden. I would consider this a very low drama/angst novel between the main characters. We first meet Leah in Kiss From A Rose where we learn that she is building her life back up after leaving and divorcing her cheating ex-husband who left her with nothing, not even a relationship with her two children. She has now opened up her own law practice as a divorce attorney helping other women in need. Marco is a widower with two amazing daughters. He loved his wife very much and is still grieving her loss three years later. They are both gifted salsa dance lessons for Christmas where they meet. They both have their own issues to get through to reach their HEA together. There is no OWD but there is a little OMD with the ex-husband making a couple of appearances where he shows exactly how horrible he is and how lucky she is to have left him. All he does is belittle her and beat down her self esteem. Marco helps Leah see how amazing and truly special she is. Leah helps Marco see he can move on and be happy again with someone else. I usually hate widower tropes because the author always makes it seem as if he has to choose who he loves the most, his deceased first love or his new love. Maya Alden wrote this trope perfectly where Leah understood that he can be completely in love with her and build a life they love together while still loving his wife who passed and the life they had together. I definitely recommend this book and am looking forward to her next one.

Like the title says, I Wanna Dance is a second chance at love story (as opposed to a second chance love story).

Both Leah and Marco thought they had found their HEA earlier in life but it turns out it was really a HFN. Marco was married to the love of his life for over 20 years until she sadly passed from cancer while Leah was married for just as long until she divorced her cheating POS ex-husband.

They meet cute at a salsa class as the only two non-paired up students. They get to know each other through the class and start dating. What I appreciate about this story is the main characters are older (40's), established in their separate careers (although Leah has only gotten back to hers since her divorce) and have a full life backstory that shaped who they are in the present.

Even though we get both Leah and Marco's POVs, the growth we see in Leah makes me think of I Wanna Dance as the story of How Leah Gets Her Groove Back (lol) and I'm here for it!

Well-written, great story, loved it!!

Sweet, charming, funny story about finding love later in life after a devastating, toxic relationship that makes you doubt yourself and your ability to be loved. Once again, Maya has taken characters and given them life so vivid you can feel the heartache and pain while you read. I can sympathize with all of Leah's feelings of not knowing how to believe in something so wonderful after being married to someone so horrible. And while you are in the horrible, it's hard to see just how horrible it is because you become so accustomed to the negatives.
Leah and Marco meet in a dance class and start to date - each having their own "baggage" - Leah - toxic ex who is so bitter he can't stand anything good happening for her and Marco, the death of his first wife - letting go and moving on is something they both need help with - and finding each other accomplishes that!
It's a sweet, enjoyable romance...minimum drama with each other. I love how Marco's daughters talk to him and help him understand women - specifically Leah!
The bar showdown...chef's kiss. Beautiful! Loved it!

Again and again Maya Alden make me believe she is kind of mixture of psychology, because all of her books always deepened on the most common traumas we suffer as human beings. This novel show us how those we love can make us feel low and undesirable, and even those who cannot understand the reasons why you can let yourself being in a toxic relationship like that find the answer in n Mayas book.

But also it shows us how the correct person can come to our life not to teach us that we were wrong to allow a disturbing behavior for many years, but to show us love and acceptance, which starts the path of healing the old wounds.

Characters are lovely and besides the jerk of the ex husband you will enjoyed all of them.

Another thing this author master is the rich description of the environment in the different scenarios and a wonderful tell history about the food.

All together with a spicy love history is the perfect formula for a wonderful book.

Another home run from Maya Alden! I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC but I had already pre-ordered this book on Amazon because Maya is an automatic one-click author for me. We first met Leah in “Kiss from a Rose” and I loved everything we knew about her. Her loyalty to Rose was amazing and I was so excited to learn that she would be receiving her own book. Leah definitely had it rough in her divorce and when you add in the fact that she was estranged from her children because of it, my heart hurt for her. No spoilers from me other than to say that this is a wonderful HEA and so well deserved. Leah and Marco…WOW. Such chemistry and heat. I read this in one sitting and it will be a definite re-read for me. 10/10 absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend ESPECIALLY if you’re a fan of second chance stories. Plus, there is an amazing scene in a bar with Leah and her horrible ex, Kevin. read this. You won’t regret it!

Okay, this makes up for On the Beach. In fact, Mick could have used some pointers from Marco on how to apologize properly.
I love the interconnecting world of these books. We first met Leah in Kiss from a Rose (a book I really liked) and I liked her, so I was very excited to read her story! First, she gets a great guy in Marco who is the opposite of her. He had a loving marriage (widower), two fabulous daughters, and self confidence. Leah spent decades in a marriage where she was constantly torn down and when she chose to leave her husband for his infidelity, her children sided with him. The voices in her head are real and she tries not to give into them, but it's hard.
Marco is a jerk to her, but he apologizes and they move forward. Leah's the one who needs to grow and she does.
Loved the dinner scene with her family. Kevin (the ex) is a jerk. Though I do wish some of Alden's heroines were blond. It seems like all the baddies (women) in her books are blond.
Anyway, it was sweet and short. Also talked about dancing. Such a great book!

I wanna dance is a story of a second chance, later in life true, honest and healthy love.

Leah does know how to be in a healthy relationship. She had just started getting herself up, after the worst experience of her life. Her divorce to her awful husband. She was insecure, sad, and alone.

Marco had lost his wife, the love of his life a few years back. But he felt “happy and content” with his life and his daughters. However once he met Leah, he realized that he had been merely surviving.

These two felt an instant connection. And they developed this chemistry slowly.

Marco and Leah’s love story is sweet, fun. This book is cozy, engaging and easy to read.

I would recommend reading it if you like sweet short stories, but a bit of groveling, and character growth and development.

ARC review

I haven't met a Maya Alden book I haven't loved and fallen into yet. She blows me away with not only the stories she tells but also real life problems and insecurities.
In this book she tells the tale of a woman finding her worth after an emotionally abusive marriage. And a man realizing he can love two women at the same time. He doesn't have to give up his love and memories with his wife to move ahead, he just has to find the right woman to do it with.
Something you learn when you've lost someone you love is you don't ever get over the loss, you just find a way to get through it. The love you have for them just like the memories never dies. They may fade a bit but it's always there.
This book shows the true emotions of someone who has lost it all but found a way to get through and find happiness again.

Loved it! I have read other novels by this author and loved them. This novel did not disappoint. I love a great second chance at love. I was so excited to jump into this novel. This novel checked so many boxes for me and did not disappoint. It checked so many boxes for me. From the first chapter this novel reached out and grabbed ahold of my attention and held on tight until the very last page. I loved Leah. She has been thru so much, I love that despite everything she had been thru she still wants to help others that have gone thru similar situations. I loved Leah and Marco. Their chemistry was so so good! Once I started reading I could not put this novel down, even if it meant staying up most of the night. So worth losing sleep over. I loved it! I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next.
