The Arena Dome roared with the screams of men fighting for their survival. Neen Salvek, a brilliant scientist, had come to judge them, but instead, she finds herself caught in a fight for freedom that could shatter the very foundations of EVE.
In this near-future society, women hold the reins of power, and men are bred for their genes. As Neen unravels a system of exploitation and death, she finds herself drawn to Tem, a fighter defying the system's control, who believes in a world where both men and women can be free. As their bond deepens, Neen discovers a conspiracy that threatens the five ruling clans and the fate of EVE. She must choose between loyalty and her to uphold the carefully crafted order or risk everything to fight for a new world?
For fans of The Handmaid's Tale and The Power, The Female Breeders is a gripping dystopian thriller that will leave you breathless. This is the first book in The Female Saga, a completed duology following Neen and Tem's journey racing against time to expose a conspiracy that threatens to dismantle their world forever.

Beware! I read AND write everything dystopian and post-apocalyptic.
If you are still here. I am a molecular biologist with a Ph.D. who likes to write down the stories that form in my head. The stories are mainly in the realm of dystopia and science fiction. On a personal level, I love all things space, coffee, travel, and sports. My family is everything to me.
Complex, thought-provoking, well-written. I haven't read anything like this in quite some time, sticking more to shallow romance. This was NOT that. This was good for the mind while providing dystopian adventure at the same time.
There's something about this story I can't let go. It jsut stays with me. This is my re-read of both volumes and I still love it. The writing is smooth, and the story flows, keeping me guessing even though I know what happens (short memory, lol).
Captivating from the first paragraph. Before you realize you are invested in so many characters lives and outcomes it becomes a read you like to settle in with and as anxious as you are to reach the ending saying goodbye smarts too!
I expected to like this a lot more but it was incredibly tediously boring….. two me more than a week to even read it because it held no interest or adventure…
