Infinite Education is an engaging and insightful book that explores how the fusion of human curiosity, creative thinking, and AI technology can shape the future of education. It offers fresh perspectives on what’s possible in the classroom, sparking new ideas and leaving me motivated to embrace innovative challenges. I’d definitely recommend it to educators seeking inspiration and forward-thinking strategies.
The book feels like a blend of two distinct parts—one rooted in big-picture theories and the other resembling a hands-on guide for accelerator groups. Because of this dual nature, it’s not necessarily a cover-to-cover read. Instead, it’s best approached in sections, allowing you to dive into specific parts as they become relevant to your work. This structure adds to its practicality, making it a resource you can return to again and again.
This is not a book for teachers but for administrators. I much preferred his book The AI Classroom (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...). That book had a lot of useful information for use in the classroom.
Way too many frameworks here. I was overloaded with frameworks.
A decent introductory read on why AI needs to be taught more in schools. But lacks the expert pedagogy found in most PD-based books. Claiming that skills are more important than knowledge goes completely against the excellent studies shown in Developing Curriculum for Deep Thinking.
