A unique collection of photography and poetry documenting the Fall of Man.
From the forgotten wisdom of ancient civilisations to the ills of our present-day patriarchy, this collection chronicles our species' increasing disconnection from Nature and thus ourselves. Each chapter in the second half of the book corresponds to one in the first; some echo the failings of the past while others offer Nature's essential remedy.
Oh the weight of first born what wicked irony befell those few who had at last opened the door only to see blessed backs must turn
On that which was long sought and prop the door jaw-drop ajar in hope the light beyond will wake all to follow in their footsteps.
Always the Only is a name that acknowledges no artist or author can lay sole claim to the art they create. They are but instruments for the muse to manifest in the physical, for the Unmanifest is always the only source of creation.
With that said, one pair of human hands brought into being the books published under Always the Only. These hands composed all poems and prose, captured every photograph, painted every brushstroke, and designed each book before peddling them into bookshops across the UK.
