Really enjoyed this allegorical fantasy. Howard's writing and storytelling ability is wonderful, and the story itself is a lovely picture of how God deals with us, even when we fail Him.

After a devastating plague shatters her home and her heart, a young wood sprite finds unexpected aid from an unlikely source—one of her people’s sworn enemies. Along the way, she discovers her own strength through trial, loss, and betrayal. Nizana is luminous from beginning to end. It’s currently free to download, and I highly recommend sharing it with the tweens and teens in your life.

Nizana is a beautiful and poignant story about loss, love, and redemption. Set in a world alive with mythical creatures from nymphs to imps, Nizana finds hope and companionship in the midst of tragedy. I found it very relatable, and I love the characters dearly. It’s definitely a must read!
