Teacakes & Tangos is the 41st book in the Little Duck Pond Café series, don't be too afraid to start it because every story can be read as a standalone.

Clara is finally opening her dancing school, unfortunately the fear of loosing her boyfriend for her sister is back, will she find out what they are plotting behind her back? Anika was stood up at a first date, but on her way home she met an old acquaintance, is it a sign of destiny?

This is a good and quite emotional read.
I felt involved in Anika's story. She is such a sweetheart she deserves to find her happily ever after, unfortunately she has to work for it.
It was nice to see Clara again, she is still kind and passionate, and I really liked the end of her story.

Rosie Green never let me down with her moving and heartwarming writing.

I really really like every book in this series and I would recommend anyone to read them.

We are back with one of the regular characters as well as a new one in the latest book in the series. For Clara, everything seems to be on the up with the start of her new dance business as well as being happy in love. As for Anika, things had hit rock bottom but bumping into an old work colleague seems to be setting her on the road for better things. What could go wrong?

One thing you are always guaranteed with these books is a happy ending. But the author keeps it realistic in that life brings its ups and downs. Things are never straight forward and there are a few surprises in store for both Clara and Anika, some good and some definitely not so good. It was a reminder not to jump to conclusions as you can be very wrong!

Teacakes and Tangos is a feel good read that not only gets your mouth watering but will have you wanting to get up and dance! It gives you hope that no matter what life throws at you, better things are just around the corner. I adore the old and new friendships that are made as well as the romance that never fails in leaving me elated when I get to the end. The perfect read for foodies and romantics!

I loved both Clara’s and Anika’s stories, and how the girls came together as Clara employed Anika to run the Little Duckling cafe at Clara’s new dance school. Great name for an extension of the existing Little Duck Pond cafe!

Clara had dreamed of having her own dance school so was over the moon when the day finally came to open the doors for the first time. Unfortunately things seem to be going awry with her relationship with Rory, and she is worried he may be seeing someone else.

Anika is having a really tough time. Having lost her mother years ago in an accident, her father is now in hospital in a coma following an act of bravery. They live together and are struggling to pay the bills. When Xander comes into her life, she is still not over being dumped by Loathsome Les a few weeks before their wedding. Is she ready for a new relationship?

Every time I pick up one of the Little Duck Pond novellas, I am immediately back in Sunnybrook and can’t put them down! I adore Rosie’s writing style and all the gorgeous characters she creates. We get to know more about them in every book, plus new characters are always being introduced.

Can’t wait for the next one!

Teacakes and Tangos is the forty first book in the Little Duck Pond Cafe series. These books can be read as a standalone.

It was great to be back with Clara as she is finally opening up her dance school. Things aren’t going too well for her and Rory though, what is he up to with Lois?

I enjoyed Anika’s story too, I was really invested in what was going to happen with her and if she could finally find happiness.

As always it’s such a heartwarming read, emotional too at times but never fails to make me smile.

Thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources for having me on the tour and to the author for my gifted ebook.

The Little Duck Pond Cafe series is back with book 41 and it's another wonderful read, sharing the goings on of the locals against the backdrop of cake!!

Anika is at the heart of this story and she's back hitting the dating scene after being dumped by her fiance. She's very close with her Dad and both finding their way in the world again after losing her Mum, and there's some real drama heading their way again that makes them reassess their outlooks.

And we also hear the story of Clara, who is opening up a new dance business and is all loved up with Rory. Her sister Lois, is upset after splitting from her boyfriend too so is hanging around with them both a little too much for Clara's' liking.

There's so much going on in this book that I was spoilt for choice as to whose story I enjoyed the most! I loved the relationship between Anika and her Dad as they faced tough times together, and you're just rooting for them to have some happier days ahead. You really get a sense with this book as well that you shouldn't jump to conclusions and sometimes all is not how it seems, so there's lot of dilemmas facing the characters. And once again the community support is just a delight to be part of again! Highly recommended!

In this latest visit to Sunnybrook, we take up Clara's story again as she prepares to open her long wished for Dance School. However, she begins to wonder whether her trusting nature has been abused as suspicion falls on her sister as to her motives and doubts are raised in her engagement. You are willing her to sort out her personal life and take a stand in a wish for the truth.
The latest off shoot of the Little Duck Pond Cafe, The Little Duckling cafe opens at the Dance School and offers a lifeline to Anika who is at a crisis in her life. Her father lies in a coma after a heroic intervention in a recent robbery. Life looks up for Anika as she meets up again with an ex- work colleague, Zander. However, doubts creep in for her a she is in for a shock as some disturbing secrets are revealed. All the usual community feeling and friendships run through the story, enhancing the plot and tying it in to the whole series. As ever, this is a hopeful and warm story in a series which is a great addition to this mammoth series.
In short: love, friendship and secrets abound

Another fabulous book in the Little Duck Pond Cafe series.
The characters are so warm and welcoming as we have some of the regulars to greet us but also a few news ones are added in this book.
Annika is ready to get back into the dating scene after her previous relationship has gone south. The loss of her mother has been especially rough for her and her father both, with whom her relationship has grown stronger with after the loss.
She is supportive of him testing the waters of dating after the loss again as well.
Emotional and realistic the author knows how to write an uplifting and realistic book that will have you returning for each new book in the series as you just can't miss out.
I enjoyed reading about Clara's new dance studio and it sounds like so much fun.
The characters are there for each other and so supportive and I really enjoyed the book so much.

I was given a complimentary copy of the book.
All opinions expressed are my own.

You know what you will get when you read a book by Rosie Green: second chances, hope and lots of love. You so know it's always a happy ending.

So despite knowing these things, I will still a bit on edge with Anika and Xander.
I loved that this book was a tale of two people, Clara, who we have loved with her dreams of the dance studio and Anika, who is new to us, and her dad is seriously unwell.

I did enjoy this outing, seeing a couple of old faces, learning to dance through the pages. These books always work my heart up with the hope that it will always be better. I also love all the new characters!! I have high hopes for Trevor!

Xander was a great addition to the series, and his storyline is an interesting one. I hope we see more of him and his family.

A great way to end the book with a gorgeous celebration, and so much more to come

Teacakes and Tangos is the 41st book in the delightful Little Duck Pond Café Series. This is such a lovely series of novellas and I am always happy to return – they can all be read as standalone books. There is so much going on in this book that the pages just flew by. I would highly recommend this book and series.

This is an entertaining story that’s part of a great series. I loved the characters Rosie writes about - each has their own story but it’s woven seamlessly into the Little Duck Pond Cafe community. Teacakes and Tangos has all the things you’d expect from a Rosie Green novella and more as we’ve drama and suspicions to unravel.
The two point of views in this one flow together really well and Clara and Anika were great characters. The support they gave eachother when needed was lovely and I hope we’ll get to spend more time with them both in future instalments of the series.

We meet Anika and catch up with Clara in this dance-oriented story in the Little Duck Pond Cafe series. Clara is realising a dream but has relationship worries. Anika's life is full of angst, but she is in for an emotional journey full of ups and downs in this story. Family, friendship, and romance are central themes, but our characters also face moral dilemmas, and both come to realise that not everything is as it first seems. I love the contemporary relevance of the story, the emotion and strong female friendships, and of course, the romance.
I received a copy of this book from the author.

All the past favourite characters are back plus a new one. Clara has her dance studio business up and running and she seems to be thriving. Anika has been knocked to the ground by life but a chance meeting might brighten things up. The plot is kept realistic by the ups and downs. There are a few suprises in store for everyone in this book and most I wasn't expecting. It has enough twists to keep you interested and of course romance. It's a happy ending but not without its challenges.

I so loved being back in Sunnybrook. The setting is wonderfully crafted and the characters are delightful. I really felt for Anika. She's been through so much. Clara is a fantastic character and I was excited for the opening day of her new dance studio. Together, Anika and Clara make a spectacular team.

Teacakes & Tangos is a fantastic novella. I enjoyed the author's writing style, the pacing of the story, and the vivid imagery. The characters are written with depth, emotion, and realism.

This is such a lovely series and this latest book is no exception. Clara is just about to open her dance school but events start to put it all under threat. Meanwhile Anika finds herself job hunting and worrying about her dad. When a chance meeting with Xander, who she used to work with, happens it looks like things might be improving. However, life is destined to not run smoothly for either Clara or Anika……. The Duck Pond Cafe and its network of fabulous characters are threaded through this story about family, friendship and so much more.
