NEW RELEASE! Order now at a limited‑time release price! “They saw… they desired… they took.” (Genesis 6)
Before the Flood there was a union that never should have been.
Before the fire fell on Sodom there was a hunger for what was not theirs.
And in Daniel’s prophecy of the statue, a final kingdom of iron and clay waits to rise.
For centuries these fragments have been treated as ancient curiosities — stories locked in the past. But what if they were warnings? What if the same impulse that reached across the boundary of flesh in Genesis still whispers to humanity today, promising transcendence yet bringing ruin?
Strange Flesh follows that thread — from the first rebellion to the prophecies of the end, from the shadowed verses of Scripture to the fascinations of our own hybrid hopes, alien saviors, the dream of transcending what it means to be human.
Are these merely myths retold, or patterns preparing the world for something yet to come?
And if so… will we recognize the boundary when it is crossed again? Anastasia is also the author of "God of The Deification of Artificial Intelligence and the Rise of a New Technomancy Religion." (published June 2025, available on Amazon).
There are not that many books these days that address Genesis 6 in such a thoughtful manner as does this one. But, herein Anastasia and Eitan Bar succeed in doing just that. And along with Genesis 6, the angelic intrusion into human life, comes a brief but significant commentary on Revelation 13, the mark of the beast. Their comments are much needed. I am grateful to have it.
Loved this book. I have much respect for Michael Heiser. And Eitan Bar. I’ve read several of Eitan Bar’s books. They always feed me and open my eyes to new truths in scripture. I especially love his knowledge of Hebrew and the interpretation of the Hebrew scriptures from a Jewish cultural viewpoint. This book really helped me understand again Gen 6:1-4, which I had originally discovered through Heiser. The linkage to the flood, and then Sodom & Gomorrah was fascinating. AND the final chapter on today’s possible - possible, he’s not saying they’re happening but given the past - the threats from same evil forces seeking to deceive and create hybrid twisted species was quite sobering. Gave me much to think about. And forewarned is forarmed!!
Um livro que li, pensando: vamos ver. Mas, que me surpreendeu pela abordagem ao texto bíblico, tanto do ponto de vista exegetico e histórico, mas também como chave para iluminar o estado presente da humanidade e o seu futuro tecnológico.
I have most all of his books. So good to understand how he explains scripture from a Jewish prospective of when the scriptures were written and why. Very enlightening and helpful for better understanding the original biblical view.
