When it comes to betrayal, there is no forgiveness in the mafia, but what happens when the person who causes the most pain is someone deeply cherished? Tatum's past decisions trigger a spiral of heartbreak and vengeance that shatters the trust in her marriage. As Naeem Bulgari contends with the remnants of broken trust, his fury becomes a perilous force, endangering all that he holds dear. Will love triumph over betrayal, or will it plunge them into irreversible chaos? Meanwhile, Khalil Bulgari lives for the seductive allure of fleeting connections. One-night stands and smooth transactions are his adrenaline rush. That is until he meets a woman who intrigues him and triggers every pet peeve he has in equal measure. Felicity is wild, carefree, and a party girl like no other. She doesn't care about family or their traditions because she feels they never loved her anyhow. However, when a family member gets into a bind, her reckless spirit is tested, and sacrifices are demanded to help them. Welcome to Monsters Inc., where decisions have consequences and loyalty comes at a high cost. In this intense power struggle, the lines between good and evil are blurred, leaving no one untouched. Will they rise up to fight or become just another pawn in the twisted game of power?

It was mediocre to me not what I was expecting to start the series off I really hope the others bring it for a cartel book the characters was weak not in control and all over the place it was missing something it just didn’t give what ppl said it did this was not it
This was my first time reading Mesha Mesh, and let me just say—I thoroughly enjoyed myself! The Bulgari Cartel delivered everything I crave in a dark romance: dom/sub dynamics, cartel drama, and high-stakes action. From the opening tragedy to the fiery final pages, this book kept me on edge and utterly captivated.
The story centers on Tatum, a cartel princess whose family has promised her to the ruthless Veneto family. The problem? She doesn’t love her betrothed—and he’s downright terrible to her. Desperate to escape, she runs straight into the arms of Naeem Bulgari, the eldest son of the rival Bulgari cartel. This betrayal ignites a full-scale war between the families, dragging every ally and enemy into the fray.
The romance between Tatum and Naeem was intense, filled with passion, conflict, and plenty of heat. Their dynamic gave me serious Beauty and the Beast vibes, especially in the ways Naeem uses punishment as both a form of protection and discipline within their dom/sub relationship. It was dark, spicy, and completely engrossing.
I also loved that the story didn’t just focus on Tatum and Naeem. We’re introduced to Naeem’s younger brother, Khalil Bulgari, and his budding romance with Felicity Veneto. The forbidden fruit element added even more tension to an already action-packed plot, and I’m excited to see where Khalil and Felicity’s story leads in future installments.
Mesha Mesh nails the hallmarks of a great cartel romance: drama, power struggles, arranged marriage conflicts, and high-stakes decisions. The Bulgari Cartel was a wild ride from start to finish, and it’s the perfect kickoff to the Monsters Inc. series. I can’t wait to dive into the rest of the series to see how this tangled web of love, loyalty, and betrayal plays out!
This book was definitely a force and I can’t wait to see what is next for Naeem and Tatum!!!!…This book picked up where it left off and flowed even more flawless so there was an understanding!!!… Khalil presence was sooooo intoxicating and he had my attn from the beginning!!!… Naeem and Tatum is going to a team that will set things off ana pull them back together!!!… I was not prepared to see Tatum’s mom as a snake, but her daddy did and blew her whole cover!!!… I hope there is more for Riley and Sophia!!!… Dallas mind has to be spinning right now!!!…
Through the up and downs, this couple was nothing to play with. Sophie was a true diva and not to be played with. Tatum mother was a piece of trash. Hands down 10 stars. Cannot wait on the book.
You brought the heat Meesha!!! This series oowwweee. I can't wait to read about the others! The story about loyalty is very strong within these characters. I enjoyed seeing how vulnerable they can be. You rock!
This book had me edge from beginning to end. Tatum And Naeem were in a situation that they just couldn’t get out of! Tatum was determined to be free from her family obligations. I loved the chemistry between Tatum and Naeem.
I can’t wait to read felicity and Khalil story! I’m sure it will be jumping. This was a good book. It has me hooked. I didn’t expect the mothers betrayal
Mesha Mesh came out swinging for the new year, and let me tell you, this one did NOT disappoint! My jaw was on the floor the entire time. Now, if you’ve read The Baker’s Bully series, you already know Mesha’s pen game is untouchable. She’s got that magic touch, and it’s on full display in The Oath. From start to finish, I was hooked. There was no putting this book down, and I found myself fully immersed in the world she created.
Let’s talk about the characters—Nameem and Khalil? Yessir. They’re exactly the kind of men you love to see on the page. They’re both strong, assertive, and unapologetically real. They play no games when it comes to loyalty and handling business. The chemistry? Off the charts. Their bond is solid, and you’ll feel it every time they step on the page.
Tatum? Oh, my girl didn’t play. She’s a force to be reckoned with. She’s got that energy that commands respect, and you can’t help but root for her. But then there’s Fecility… my heart really went out to her. She’s dealing with some heavy stuff, and you can’t help but feel for her. Her struggles hit different, and you’ll find yourself emotionally invested in her journey.
The Oath isn’t just a piece of the story; it’s an experience. The drama, the loyalty, the passion—it’s all there in full force. The world Mesha Mesh has built feels authentic, and the culture comes through in every word. The plot is tight, the twists hit hard, and the characters bring it all to life. You won’t regret diving into this one. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s everything you need in a book. Just go read it—you won’t be disappointed.
This book picked right up where Unwrapped By A Don left off. Tatum pissed me off at the end of the first book so I am glad to see she got her mind right in this book but boy did Naeem give her hell. I was not at all expecting him to respond the way he did. I was glad to see we got a little bit of Khalil in this book and can’t wait to read his book. My heart broke for Felicity and can’t wait to see how everything comes together for her. I was hoping for a little more background on Naeem. We didn’t get much about his background in book 1 so I was hoping Mesha Mesh would get more into his mixed heritage, how he became the head of the Cartel, and some of the internal family issues because of it. I also wanted some more history on Tatum and her parents. I did however like the introduction to how The Inc got started. I was also glad to see we got a little more of Tatums ruthless side.
Tatum took her vows to Naeem seriously, she moved him to his (their) home and she got him the best doctor and physical therapist. He treated her like ish, he knew she was protecting him and her but he didn't see that at the time.. Now he sees that he was cruel to her locking her into room feeding her food he wouldn't eat, sexing her into submission making them both miserable just so he could prove his point. While he was rehabbing his sister made him point to to tell Tatum she made all the difference. The had to weed out all the snakes in the camp starting uncle James because he thought he had the position on lock knowing he was the one who who started the mess in the first place. Tatum had to make an example out of him. Khalil and Felicity is going to be for the books because she's fighting him right now at the end of this book so imagine what she's going to do when she gets her own book.
So much happened in this book. Tatum and Naeem were def going through in the beginning. Like I get Naeem and though his tactics were a bit much, I understood them and the same goes for tatum. I am def interested in Kahlil and felicity story...I just know that's about to be amazing.
Tatum mom wasn't shit and I didn't even really suspect her. Enzo wasn't shit either.
Dallas is def a snake and I don't like him I hope he gets got real soon.
I loved how you picked up, from right where ‘Wrapped Up with A Don’ left off. I absolutely love me some Naaem, Tatum had me ready to come for her a few times, but she straightened up. The way they ride for one another is definitely goals. Him locking her in the room was hilarious, though also cringe worthy knowing how she valued her freedom. Can’t wait to read Khalil and Felicity story, their chemistry is already off the chain, so I know it’s going to be great. This book is definitely a great start for the Monsterz Series!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great Story! I’m excited to read the rest of the Monsters Inc. series. I see that the Dons will make the ultimate power couple!
I hope that Kahlil and Felicity’s story continues in one of the books. Despite his aversion to his duty to his family and her current state, I love how soft he was able to be with her. I also loved her vulnerability with him, although she tried to fight him.
I love a good Black Mafia trope with an arranged marriage, so this one hit the spot for me. A little BDSM was just the razzle dazzle needed to round out the 5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
These families had a lot of disloyal individuals in their circle that I don’t think would have been revealed had Tatum and Naeem crossed paths. It’s crazy that the parents were the cause of all the unnecessary turmoil. Now Khalil definitely has his work cut out for him dealing with Dallas’s sister she’s truly lost and I hope he can help her before she ruins herself.
Just discovered that there was a book before this, unwrapped by a don, which is why I probably feel that this was rushed and didn’t show any development. I went into The Inc series thinking that all books were standalones so I wasn’t checking for anything else. I wish that was mentioned at the beginning of the book. I’ve read Mesha’s work before and was a fan so I spent most of the book wondering what was going on but now it makes sense.
This book started off with action I could not put this book down! I read this book two days. Naeem omg crazy as hell. How he tortured His wife For being disloyal as he thought But I'm glad that they got back on track. This book was excellent1 of the best out of the cartel books.. This was my 1st time reading from this author but it will not be my last I don't want to spoil the book for you but trust me it is a page turner.
Tatum is trying to prove to Naeem that she loves him. But he puts her through!!! I can’t even believe they can come back from this but it’s the life they have chosen.
To really bring peace they’ve asked Khalil to marry Felicity.
Monsters Inc is about to be a ride. I can’t even believe already tell.
I started this book twice because I was lost then looked at the reviews before I marked it DNF and saw that it picked up where Unwrapped By A Savage Don ended. There should have been something in the front of this book to read Unwrapped By A Savage Don first. Once I went back and read it, this one was a little more enjoyable.
Whew... Tatum girlie! I was worried about you for a minute! I could understand Naem's frustration. The author painted a picture for us and allowed us to experience every stroke of her brush. The preview of Khalil's storyline definitely left me intrigued and wanting more!
A little different than normal crime families. I would think men are harder to except that a woman could lead them. But she had a killer instincts in her and she watched the people around her. Great judge of character. I loved the romance between them. Waiting on the brother's story.
This book was off the chain. I can't believe how Tatum's uncle was so deceptive to his family alongside Naeem's cousin. They should have known they would end up dead for betraying the Cartel. Also, Tatum's om was sleeping with the enemy and plotting against her own daughter. I knew Tatum will do great things. Great Read!
Wow, great cartel story! I loved the Bulgari cartel! Naeem and Khalil were each bothers keeper for sure! Naeem and Tatum were married but they certainly had some hills to climb, dealing with family betrayal and exes who wouldn't go away! I look forward to reading Khalil and Felicity story as I will be able to see more of Naeem and Tatum!
Baby this gave me all the feels and emotions! Absolutely loved it! Definitely was a wild ride! A page turner for sure!!! Couldn’t stop until I finished and I need more!!!
Great start to the Monster Inc Series especially by all the bomb authors involved! What a way to start 2025, keep em coming. Can’t wait for Khalil and Felicity’s story. Yessssahhh!
Okay, so this book with the Christmas book could've been 1. I needed more from the MCM and FMC. The side character pov was more drawing. I wanted the main characters to grow. It was kind of rushed. And it feels incomplete.
This whole story line was all over the place . It’s hard to follow and it left so many unanswered questions . What happened with Dallas , will the brother and felicity wed , what is the story with the sister Sophia … and the list goes on .
Monster Inc. The Bulgaria Cartel was a good book. I do want more details on the reconnection of the two. Also, the ending was a bit "cut off ish" over all I enjoyed it and read the next book. 4stars...
The way I just devoured this book. Whew chile! Mesha Mesh started this year swinging! She took no prisoners! I loved it! Congratulations! I’m looking forward to the next family.
