This was my first holiday read of Christmas season & it was Ah-mazing!!!! I loved the rivalry between Brie & Logan which quickly turns in to something hotter than hot chocolate! There were at least 3 times that I hysterically laughed out loud! And those steamy scenes made me want to find a sexy Santa too. This is a perfect rom-com to start your holiday season off right!

Brie is determined to have a successful Christmas festival in order to get a promotion but her childhood rival, Logan, has come back home with his own Christmas carnival. Sparks are flying but that is not just the Christmas lights.

"So not only do I have to pull off the best festival this town has ever seen, but I also have to do it while he's organizing his own Christmas carnival."

Thank you to the author for the early copy. All opinions are my own and given freely.

Never Sleigh Never is an enemies to lovers holiday romance. It's been 18 years since these two high school rivals have seen each other. And it appears the rivalry is still there... because he's setting up his own Christmas event, while she's in charge of the town's festival. She's not going down without a fight though, especially when so much is riding on making this Christmas Festival the best one yet.

Let's just get this out of the way... I really struggle with a plot based on grudge holding. Especially 18 years later. And the way she held on to it, especially knowing what he'd been through. It made me struggle with liking Brie, who I feel this story was more focused on. Because on the flip side Logan was such a gem. I could have done with a lot more focus on him.

There is so much going for this story regardless. All the fun festive vibes. The great side characters and friendships that will leave you wanting more. And humor that will make you laugh out loud. I mean that whole break in mask scene had me cackling. It also doesn't skimp on the spice. Santa's workshop was fun!😉

Ultimately my own hang-up with grudge holding got in the way of me loving it. But still enjoyable for the festive season. If you enjoy spicy holiday romcoms be sure to give it a whirl!

FMC - Brie: 4 🌟
MMC - Logan: 5 🌟
SPICE: 🌶🌶

LIKES: This was a cute holiday romcom! I really enjoyed the competitive nature between Brie and Logan, and their hijinx had me giggling for sure. I also adored how everything in town had holiday themed names, so collectively, the whole book had super cute Hallmark movie vibes 😊

DISLIKES: For some reason, Brie's character bothered me a little bit. Maybe because after so many years, she still held onto her grudge from highschool, but still behaved kinda immaturely over it too

I also thought that Brie and Logan had more chemistry outside of the bedroom than in. The spicy scenes, including some of the dialogue, just felt lacking somehow

Never Sleigh Never is a treat for readers who adore the witty charm of Tessa Bailey or the heartfelt hilarity of Meghan Quinn. With a backdrop of frosted rooftops and small-town sparkle, this holiday romance brings the heat and the heart in equal measure.

The story centers on Brie, a meticulous planner whose perfectly stacked schedule is thrown into delightful disarray when Logan Crawford, her childhood rival turned retired hockey legend and devoted single dad returns to Mount Holly.

Tasked with co-leading the Holly Jolly Festival, their forced proximity ignites a flurry of snarky exchanges, sizzling tension, and unexpected vulnerability.

Their dynamic is electric: fast-paced banter, laugh-out-loud antics, and a rivalry that snowballs into something tender and transformative. Underneath the festive chaos, Stevens threads in poignant themes of healing, second chances, and emotional growth, grounding the romance in something deeper than mistletoe and mischief.

If you’re drawn to holiday love stories with a kick—where enemies spark into lovers amid garlands and glitter, this one’s a must-read. It’s cozy, chaotic, and brimming with seasonal swoon. Add it to your December lineup if you like your romance with a side of spice and a whole lot of heart.

Release Date 10/20/25! I received an ARC for this book and it was just what I needed. Small town ✅ Single Dad ✅ Christmas War ✅ I loved this book so much. All of the characters are loveable and the MMC, Logan, is the man every girl dreams of. I was able to finish this book in 2 days because I just couldn’t put it down. Highly recommend. Here is a blurb from the author @authorgiastevens.

This is actually my favorite Christmas romance so far this year 💕👌🏼

I loved everything about this book 🎄
Is it overly christmasy and has all the Hallmark Christmas vibes? Yes 😅🫣 But it didn’t matter at all, it’s so good.

This is the sweetest “enemies to lovers” (I would maybe call it rivals to lovers instead).
The story actually has some depth and I really appreciate that, but at the same time it’s also just fun and spicy.

Brie and Logan have GREAT banter, I think I love their bickering and their flirting equally 😍 I really like Brie, I think she’s fierce, stubborn, smart, fun and also very chaotic. Then there’s Logan, boy oh boy 😍🫠🫣🔥 He’s perfect, no notes, none, zero 👌🏼😍
Their chemistry is off the charts and I love how their relationship changes throughout the book. The spice is very well balanced with emotions and a lot of heart and that made it even better. The mouth on this guy.. 🔥

When you have a single dad, there’s also the cute kid and Josie is absolutely adorable. I liked the side characters and I’m so happy that we’re going to get Willa’s book next 👌🏼

So if you want ALL the christmasy vibes and seasonal swoon and also love:
Rivals to lovers / Childhood enemies
Single dad
Small town romance
Former hockey player

… then you’re going to LOVE “Never sleigh never”

OMG this was one of the best holiday Rom coms I’ve ever read!!

Enemies to lovers perfection!! I loved how Brie has harbored this hate since high school! It’s so deeply engrained that it makes the tension between her and Logan oh so good!! And Logan ..ugh! A widower, single dad who can’t help but notice how beautiful the woman who hates him is. *Swoon!!

My favorite was the banter between Brie and Logan. It was flirty and full of underlying tension, which then turned to spicy and sassy and sweet! The build up is perfect! It’s not too much too soon, but it’s also not a slow burn that is torture lol. And the fact that they fool around in Santa’s workshop and the hot cocoa station is just holiday romance perfection 🥰

I loved the scenes with Josie. How sweet she was, and how her and Brie instantly bonded!! I loved that she secretly was trying to get them together. Single dad is a fave trope for me and the sweet family parts are my fave!!

I loved the gossipy small town and the rumors. And the interview that they both gave where they inadvertently couldn’t help but gush about the other one 🥰🥰

Ohhhh my heart broke for Brie (I won’t give away what happened). And for Logan. It’s such a rough situation to manage for both of them. But I loved how she understood but also refused to be second choice. And I loved how he needed to apologize and make sure she was ok, but also give her space. And then the way he showed up and made her see that’s she is his first choice!!!! My heart ❤️ ❤️

This book is exactly what I want in a holiday Rom Com!!

Christmas rivalry meets small town charm in this cozy, laugh-out-loud holiday romance that’s as heartwarming as a mug of cocoa on a snowy night. Full of humor, heart, and holiday sparkle, this book is everything a festive romance should be. Fun, flirty, a little spicy, and bursting with small town love.

Brie is determined to make this year’s Holly Jolly Festival her big career breakthrough. After years of feeling overlooked, she’s ready to prove herself once and for all, until her high school nemesis, hometown hockey hero Logan Crawford, returns with his own competing Christmas Carnival. What begins as a full-blown “holiday war” quickly turns into something neither of them expected: a second chance at love wrapped in snowflakes and sparkles.

Brie is instantly relatable. She's ambitious, spirited, and maybe a little too focused on what she’s missed instead of how far she’s come. Watching her grow into her confidence is one of the story’s sweetest rewards. Logan, on the other hand, is pure swoon material: a charming widower, devoted single dad, and man on a mission to honor his late wife’s memory. His soft heart and steady patience balance Brie’s fire perfectly.

Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic is well executed here. The banter crackles with playful tension, their pranks are hilarious, and the chemistry builds naturally from rivalry to something tender and real. When emotions finally break through the teasing and mischief, the payoff is both spicy and sincere, complete with scenes that are equal parts festive and flirty (yes, there’s Santa’s workshop, and yes, it’s delightful).

The small-town atmosphere shines with all the quintessential Minnesota details that also had me cackling thinking about all my MN friends. The tater tot hotdish, meat raffles, and that uniquely “Minnesota Nice” mix of gossip and warmth. The side characters, especially Logan’s daughter Josie, add so much heart. Her quiet matchmaking efforts and growing bond with Brie bring an extra layer of sweetness that makes the romance feel earned and whole.

Underneath the twinkling lights and mistletoe, the story digs into grief, self-worth, and the courage it takes to choose love again. Brie and Logan’s journey is messy and emotional, but their ending feels like a big, warm hug. If you adore enemies-to-lovers stories, single dad heroes, and Hallmark vibes with heat, this one’s a must for your December TBR.

I just want to live here. Is that possible?

Where does one find a meat raffle? And wild rice hotdish? I demand this recipe now.

But really, this book is exactly what you want in your holiday enemies-to-lovers romance. You should read it, for sure.

I laughed, I laughed even more, and then, well, you guessed it... I laughed.

The bickering and the banter are ON POINT. The chemistry is HERE FOR IT.

Never Sleigh Never is all I wanted in my holiday romance.

What to expect: small town romance, holiday vibes, rivals to lovers, dueling Christmas festivals, single dad, rom-com

This book was such a fun read!!! I wish I could live in this town. It’s cozy, funny, a little steamy, and full of all the festive chaos I could ever want. The Christmas spirit is strong with this one, and now I’m trying to talk myself out of putting up my tree in early October…

The writing was super smooth and I flew through the book. It had me laughing, with one chapter specifically that had my jaw on the floor. But everything was wrapped up beautifully in the end like the prettiest Christmas present.

If you’re looking for something to get you in the holiday mood, add this book to your TBR. It releases on October 20, 2025!

18 years is a long time to hold a grudge, but Brie McKenna has held one over Logan Crawford ever since high-school. Apparently, everything went easy for Logan even though Brie worked and tried harder. Now she is in charge of the Mount Holly Festival this year, so she needs to make sure its the best its ever been.

Brie is up for a promotion, Mount Holly's new event coordinator. So ensuring the festival goes smoothly with more bells and whistles will guarantee her that job. Although, when a carnival has been announced around the same time as the festival. Things seem to get a bit more chaotic for Brie. Her arch nemesis Logan is the mastermind behind the carnival and its given her another reason to hate him.

Logan left Mount Holly to pursue a hockey career, but when his wife died a few years ago. He finally realized he needed help in raising his 11-year-old daughter, Josie. They needed family and stability in their lives, so moving back home made sense. He also wanted to complete his wife's dream of having a carnival, so he put all his energy and efforts into making it become a reality.

Brie and Logan go back and forth sabotaging one another, but could their be some deeper feelings hidden underneath? Sometimes people who tend to fight tooth and nail are actually quite attracted towards one another. Can they put aside their differences for the sake of everyone around them and work together to create this holiday season the best it can be?

A cozy holiday romance with a midwestern flair! As a fellow Minnesotan, I just loved all of the things that are just so quintessentially Minnesota. Tator tot hotdish, meat raffles, and “Minnesota Nice” add a fun twist to this Christmas romance. After a lifetime of coming in second, our FMC Brie is ready to win and score her dream promotion by hosting the best Holly Jolly Festival ever. That is until her longtime nemesis Logan moves back to town to host a Christmas Carnival with his daughter to honor his late wife. This year it is going to be a Christmas war between these two. That is until sparks start flying.

I really enjoyed Brie’s character arc in this story. At first she bugged me because she was so focus on all the things she felt were taken from her. So much so that she was missing out on all of the things she achieved. Watching her grow and become sure of herself was very cool. Logan was so dreamy and my heart broke for him and his daughter. While I’m glad he found his way, he definitely had a hard time moving forward. One scene in particular would have been very hard for me to move past but I’m glad they got there. Overall, this was a fun and sexy ride full of holiday cheer and Midwestern touches. A great read for the holiday season!

Thank you so much to Gia and Torch Lit Ink for this ARC in return for my honest review. My opinions are my own.

This holiday romcom is such a treat! Brie is on a mission to pull off the town's Holly Jolly Festival, but her childhood rival Logan rolls back into town with his daughter to set up his own holiday carnival. And guess what? He’s a former hockey player! I mean, how could I resist that combo? Their playful rivalry had me giggling, especially during some hilarious scenes. The banter between them is sharp and fun, and you can totally feel the chemistry building.

With Mount Holly’s festive, holiday themed vibe, it honestly feels like stepping into a classic Hallmark movie. The side characters, like Josie and the quirky Gigi club, bring even more charm to the mix.

Watching Logan, the sweet single dad, open up and form a bond with Brie just adds that extra layer of warmth.

This book totally captures all the magic of the season and leaves you feeling excited for all the holiday fun ahead!

This was my first holiday read of the Christmas season and possibly my most anticipated! I love Gia's other series', so I was super excited when she announced a Holiday Romcom!

When single dad Logan f'n Crawford returns to his hometown with a twenty-foot Christmas tree and an agenda, you know you're in for a good time (did I mention he's a former Hockey star? That tidbit may be important heehee)!

Gia serves up a frosty-meets-flaming romcom cocktail that’s equal parts snowball fight and steam shower. You have a classic enemies / rivals to lovers trope with Brie determined to make her Christmas festival a success and snag a promotion, but her arch nemesis Logan comes back to Mount Holly with a competing carnival (and irresistible charm) throwing her perfectly planned tinsel parade into chaos. Between all of the sabotage, banter, and chemistry... you won't want the story to end!

Glad I started with this, the rest of my Holiday tbr has some big Santa boots to fill ;)

What's this? Another rec from me that's Christmas themed?! Wow. I'm a changed woman.

No, don't be silly. I'm still a Grinch. But you give me a good.... Nay, GREAT book that handles Christmas with absolute perfection. Then you can sure as shit bet I'm gonna read it.

Now, following that. This should absolutely guarantee you how good this book is. I was picked as an ARC reader for this book, and I must apologise to Gia purely because I should have let her know I was a Grinch. But, where's the fun in that?👀

I was absolutely sold on reading this, simply from the advertising. It completely sucked me in. So, kudos Gia. But anyway, let's actually get down to it shall we.

So. Small town Christmas rom-com with rivals and enemies-to-lovers. The tension mixed with banter, honestly. I was laughing one minute and kicking my feet and squealing the next. The banter was literally the icing on top.

I'm finishing this book on a high and desperately want a Logan of my own. K? Thanks....Byeee.

I’m not really one for holiday themed romance novels, but after finishing this book I might just be converted.
From start to finish I was laughing continuously with the one upping each other between Brie and Logan. They have a bitter past between them, more so in Brie’s mind and to me it’s totally warranted because I’d still be angry eighteen years later as well!!
But because of their backwards and forwards, they end up spending time together and feelings start to change. I would definitely call this a slow burn romance and to me it had to be written this way because of all the bitter feelings Brie has held onto.
Gia creates such wonderful worlds and characters, and even before finishing this book I was hoping that there would be more books to come featuring some of the supporting characters. Luckily at the end I found out my wish would be granted.

Can a town ever be too Christmassy? How many Christmas festivals are too many?

This is the dilemma facing Mount Holly, and more specifically, Brie McKenna, the person in charge of planning the traditional Mount Holly Jolly Festival. Her future promotion is on the line if she doesn’t pull this off, so it doesn’t make her happy when her arch nemesis, the guy who bested her in everything at school, ex-hockey pro and town hero Logan Crawford, rolls back into town with plans to set up a Christmas Carnival right next door. Game on!

I loved the tension between Brie and Logan, their constant rivalry, probably more on Brie’s part, but Logan certainly leaned into it. The snowman for a reindeer’s head was hysterically funny, and the whole sweeping of the footprints away had me cackling with laughter.

I thought Josie was adorable. She was the sweetest little girl in the world, and Logan was so good with her. I felt for both of them after losing Josie’s mum, but the way they tackled things together was sweet, and Brie fitted in so well with them. The ending was sweet and cute, and perfect for Brie’s love life and work life.

Looking forward to seeing Willa’s story and finding out what that cryptic message was all about.

Never Sleigh Never was a true rom-com full of holiday cheer with a dash of enemies-to-lovers competition for the best holiday festival games.

Mount Holly Town may be small, but it certainly has tons of charm. You get your coffee at the Cafe, then have breakfast at the diner, and spend all day coming up with Christmas games and activities, not only to have the best Festival but to outsmart your rival.

I loved every second of reading about these two love birds...Logan is the sweetest single dad ever, and it doesn't hurt that he's also hot. I loved that Josie was included in alot of his decisions. I also loved that there was a connection between Brie and Josie from the start.

I really enjoyed all the side characters and am excited to read the next book in this series.

Thank you to Gia for an early copy of Never Sleigh Never.

What a great Christmas read! 💚❤️

I am usually not a fan of enemies to lovers, but I really liked this one. Logan and Brie are fun when they are dueling over competing festivals and you can really see the sparks fly. But, they are even better when they finally realize how much they like each other. ❤️❤️❤️

It was a pretty quick read and I love the small town vibes. I really love Brie’s girlfriends and I’m crossing my fingers that we get more stories to come from them.

The first Christmas romance of the season did not disappoint! There was so much to love in this one - enemies to lovers, rival Christmas festivals, a single dad MMC, small town romance, banter, he’s a former hockey player, a spicy romcom, one chaotic sheep (looking at you, Brad 🐑), and so much more!

When Logan returns to Mount Holly to put on a Christmas carnival, the rivalry between him and Brie reignites. Brie is in charge of the yearly Holly Jolly Festival in Mount Holly, and she does not plan to come in second place to Logan yet again. As one would expect in a Christmas romcom, all the holiday themed chaos ensues!

The antics between Brie and Logan delightful, and I loved their banter. Also, the spice once we get there is 🥵.

If you’re looking for a Christmas romcom with some spice, don’t miss this one!

Thank you so much to Gia Stevens and Torch Lit Ink for the gifted copy of this book! 🎄

For starters this was set in Minnesota, so as a Minnesotan myself I felt right at home in these pages! The small town vibes with the gossip mill, the holiday festivities with all the snow and hockey and of course the tator tot hotdish! Brie and Logan’s story was everything I needed. There was tension, banter, moments I was giggling and moments my heart strings were being tugged. The progression of the characters and their relationship felt natural and not forced in any way. Logan’s relationship with his daughter adds such sweet moments to this story. I also loved the dual pov and that each chapter had its own unique title!

If you love a mix of humor, small-town charm, holiday festivities, romance, enemies to lovers and a little bit of spice, this book is perfect for you! I loved every second of it!

Thank you Gia for enclosing me as a part of the ARC crew! I can wait to head back to Mount Holly!

Can I give a book more than 5 stars?! No? Well, that should definitely be reserved only for the very best books....like Never Sleigh Never. Granted, Flirting with the Scrooge's wrestling in the snow over a Christmas tree is still, hands down, the BEST and funniest Christmas romance scene I've ever read. But Christmas pranks that incude a broken reindeer [head] are awesome and funny, too! Logan and Brie are an amazing enemies-to-lovers couple with Josie providing the perfect side-kick! Another incredible book, Gia!!

This book was all the Christmas family feels but also there so much emotion for both of Brie and Logan to work through and I love that about a book. Watching the characters work through emotions and come out stronger and more in-tune with what they want with one another.

Never Sleigh Never is an enemies to lovers holiday romance. Logan is back in town after 18 years and Brie has a certain feelings about this. Especially when they met on the side of the road on his first day back in town, he saves her and she’d rather of been hit by the truck. It stems from back in high school and they were rivals back then because Logan had everything handed to him in the words of Brie. And it appears the rivalry is rivaling…. And sparks are FLYING to say the least. But what has Brie in such a mood is he is trying to have a Christmas carnival in Mount Holly and evening knows that this is the time of year for Mount Hollys Christmas Festival which she is on charge of and she is trying whatever she can to get him out of town and shut down his carnival. This is her year to show her boss that she can handle this event, she had been working for this the past eight years. But the reason why Logan is here and doing the Christmas Carnival is the most heartwarming thing a man could do.

The grudge that Brie has held for 18 years, will she be able to see past what Logan is trying to do and move on to see that he is the most selfless man who is just trying to move on as a widower and show light on one of Brooke’s last wishes….

Mr Logan Crawford, ex hockey player, single dad to most sweet sassy eleven year old and is back in amount Holly with hopes of this being his last big move for himself and Josie. This is where his mom and stepdad are and he moved back here after retiring to show Josie stability. But this man has been through it the last three years, he lost his wife unexpectedly which my heart broke when this finally came into the story and the way he puts himself down if he is doing it right and is be enough. My poor heart.

The more Brie and Logan run into one another the more sparks fly and the more Brie finally sees that there is more to them than this rival. The way she is there for Josie and is ready to step in for the normal Christmas traditions warmed my heart but NOT before Logan stomps in and puts a stop to it because of the feelings he is still holding onto with Brooke. The connection that Brie and Logan shared when they called truce was everything that I had hoped for when reading this story but then she felt like she wasn’t first place to Logan and she walked away….. my HEART BROKE. He let Brooke’s name slip in a rather intimate setting and she ran but for this first time since Brooke’s passing he has felt alive again and he never thought he would have this feeling. Can he reassure her that she is the only thing he wants while still grieving Brooke and moving forward with her as their future?

This story has so much going between the carnival, the festival, the fun festive vibes and all the events that this town holds this time of year. The side characters and friendships that will leave you wanting more. And humor that will make you laugh out loud. I mean that whole break in mask scene had me cackling and then she stole the reindeer head. It also doesn't skimp on the spice. Santa's workshop was fun! 😉

And then Willa at the end? I am so ready for the next book now.

No to rozumiecie, dlaczego świąteczna wojna.

As always I like to thank torchlitink and Gia Stevens for the gifted eARC in exchange for my honest review of Never Sleigh Never. Now onto my thoughts!

Never Sleigh Never follows the story of a girl named Brie who is in charge of the annual Christmas festival in her hometown. This festival is something she holds near and dear to her heart so she wants to be able to prove she is capable of keeping the festival alive, fun and overall perfect. However, her plans are quickly derailed when a man named Logan returns to town with plans of his own Christmas carnival. Growing up, Brie always felt like she was in competition with Logan as she lost to him in a multitude of ways even when it doesn’t even feel like he is trying to win. So seeing him back in town and already attempting to dismantle her whole entire plan, a little competition starts to build between the two once again.

Brie and Logan have such incredible banter filled moments that truly brought the comedy to this story but it also made their chemistry that much sweeter. Especially since Logan is a single dad who unfortunately lost his wife years ago, it was beautiful to see how he was slowly opening up and accepting of Brie into his life as their chemistry continued to grow.

This book not only brought the sweet romance vibes to the party, it also provided the chaotic holiday moments that truly make the holidays some of the most fun memories a person can have. It’s only October but after reading this book, I’m so excited for the upcoming holiday seasons and just enjoying some of the more merrier times of the year. Definitely felt like I stepped into some sort of hallmark Christmas movie while reading this book and I loved every moment of it!

Gia Stevens brings festive cheer, holiday sweetness, small town shenanigans and heat of enemies to lovers romance in Never Sleigh Never. This story has some absolutely adorable and lovable secondary characters so you can imagine how amazing the lead characters are. This was a feast of hilarious rivalry accidents, witty banter, scorching hot chemistry and swoon worthy feels. Brie and Logan will steal your heart.

🎅 holiday romance
🎅 enemies to lovers
🎅 small town romance
🎅 ex hockey player single dad hero
🎅sassy heroine
🎅 kind of second chance
🎅 funny and spicy

This is the last chance for Brie to shine as the event coordinator for Holly Jolly Christmas festival, the biggest event of their small town and snag the promotion. All was going well until her high school nemesis and the town hero for being professional hockey player, Logan Crawford returns to his hometown. And plans to host another Christmas carnival. So starts the string of accidents and incidents building up their chemistry and connection till they end up being lovers.

Logan is an incredibly charming guy. A sexy man who lost his wife 14 years ago and is an epic single dad and planning a Christmas carnival to honor his wife's wishes? Argh its just so sweet. He is so magnetic and brilliant. Only..that was a problem for Brie. Everybody loves Logan and nobody knows how his competitiveness in school ruined a lot of things for Brie. She is such a sparkling soul. I love her sass and determination and kindness so much. She spreads sunshine and rainbows for everyone. Again..not for Logan. They were pranking and out-pranking each other and their rivalry actually forced them together where they got to know each other in a deeper level. Once they put their enemy goggles aside, they could admit their attraction. Logan admired her feisty and sweet sides equally and Brie felt that no one has rallied for her like he did. I loved the whole atmosphere. There is something about reading Christmas celebration sitting in my room!
