From start to finish this book held my attention and addicted to what’s next. Stoni writes books that a highly suspenseful, spicy and very complex - a winning combination for me!
I love how she always surprises me with a twist or direction where I’m completely blindsided because that rarely happens and I love it!
Luciano and Simone have both experienced horrible tragedies in their pasts which they have worked hard to deal with. Being partners to find and take down The Bomb Maker has them working closely together professionally while they are also exploring an intense physical connection.
There is so much story to enjoy and it will keep you glued to the page or your screen. Stoni is an author that is not just a ‘one-click’ for me, but she’s a make sure I clear my schedule so I can dive right in and not be interrupted while I live vicariously in her amazing world. Her books are a guaranteed 5+ star reading experience.

There’s way more to this cold hearted assassin and his stalker
Luciano Santini. What an amazing character this man is. In Power (The Santini Assassins Book 1) by Stoni Alexander, he comes to life and slowly bears his heart and soul. He’s passionate about everything he does and good at it all, too, including keeping his heart locked down and impenetrable until Simone Redding. This is where things heat up, get intriguing, sprinkle in some raw steamy encounters and that’’s just the beginning of Power.
I loved this book so much. Luciano becomes so much more than a fashion mogul by day and assassin by night. His heart is shattered for sure, but we find that he’s not the only one who’s traumatized by loss. Family is extremely important in this book and there’s as much levity in familial reactions as there is seriousness. There are some twists by the end that make the resolution even more poignant.
Stoni Alexander has delivered yet another fantastic read! With two shattered hearts finding one another in the most inexplicable way, calling to each other to heal and learn to love again. The emotional impact of these characters is compounded once the suspense of danger is clearly targeting them and everyone working with them. Let’s just say, there’s a whole lot going on and you will not be able to stop turning the pages.
Overall, this first book in the Santini Assassins series is phenomenal and packed full of everything you expect from a Stoni Alexander adventure, and I can’t give her enough praise for the way she weaves her characters stories. Power is standalone, but characters from previous series by this author are reprised and have significant roles in Luciano and Simone’s journey. And it is a journey! A multifaceted one that captures the heart as well as the mind. You don’t want to miss out on reading this one.

A new series begins with POWER, and it is more than good. It’s masterful, well-written, full of diabolic twists, and blazing passion. Stoni Alexander just keeps getting better! This is going to be some series if this book is any indication.
The main characters are well developed and multi-layered. Luciano Santino is the epitome of power in a suit. A multi-billionaire running a complicated empire, he has a side job which is dark. He is a man who never shows much fire but has dedicated his life to righting wrongs done by the worst criminals including terrorists. He feels he has nothing more to risk until he meets Red.
Simone “Red” Redding is a strong-willed, independent woman who was an ALPHA agent until her world collapsed. In POWER, she must return to her previous persona to avenge a dear friend. Along the way she is tasked with keeping an eye on Santini. Once they met, a blaze ignited.
I always love how she manages to incorporate characters from her previous books back into the current novel and I was not disappointed. The intermingling of the past characters into the subplots Stoni wrote makes the intrigue even more intense.
The cover and the model are plain delicious too!
I can’t wait for the rest of the series about the Santini brothers! I recommend this book wholeheartedly. You will not be disappointed.

Having just finished Power I have a serious book hangover. It's riveting, captivating, mesmerizing and enthralling (take your pick.) Stoni Alexander turns up the heat to inferno levels not only in the spice but in the suspense, intrigue, drama and danger. This is the first book in the Santini Assassins and if it's any indication we're all in for phenomenal reading ahead.
Assigned together as partners, Luciano Santini and Simone Redding's mission is to find the one responsible of devastating acts both past and future. The results are surprising and unexpected on several levels. Luciano just may be my new favorite male character. He definitely exudes power from every pore, wears a suit like he was made for it and can seduce you with just one look. Make no mistake though, he's as deadly as they come. Simone Redding is no shrinking violet. She knows what she wants and is not afraid to demand or ask for it. She's at the top of her game despite deadly and costly setbacks. These two both have past tragedies in their lives that have hardened their hearts but the electricity that arcs between them cannot be denied. Marvelous story. The Santinis are a family of assassins. Luciano is the owner of Santini International, dealing mostly in fashion. His sideline is getting the bad guys. Simone was an Alpha operative until her team died in a bombing and she was the only survivor. The plot is intricate with some red herrings. They have teamed up to find and kill the Bomb Maker. The characters are fantastic. Luciano is the kind of man women dream about--tall, handsome, protective, and a great lover. He adores Simone but has dark secrets he needs to overcome. I was hooked from the first page. I also enjoyed seeing the characters from past books. Plus I seem to be adding to my Mafia-ese vocabulary! Fantastic read! Is Greystone next?

Finding your heart and soul
Simone and Luciano both had tragedies in their pasts and had locked their hearts away to protect themselves from more pain. They were thrown together and had to work as a team to uncover a terrorist plot and the evil person who planned it. It was full of suspense and twists which made it hard to put down. Luciano and Simone put each other back together. Their love story was perfect. The only flaw was the length. Not much happened until half the book was read. I fought the urge to skip some chapters bc there were too many twists and turns to discover. It has a great HEA. Although there’s no cliffhanger there are some unresolved mysteries that I hope will be resolved in the next book. Very clever writing

Book 1 of the Santini Assassins has me hungry for more! Seeing Simone ( who I first met in The Mitus Touch) and Luciano (Yes, Carrera Santini's cousin!) have their story play out was fascinating. The pages of this one practically turned themselves and the heat?🥵🔥🔥🔥 Absolute fire! All old friends from the Vigilantes Series are present and mentions of the Touch series cast are mentioned in such an interesting way. Can't wait for more of this series!

Just like all of Stoni’s books, expect the unexpected. The romance is very steamy; the suspense is riveting; the plots are twisted; and the mystery is perplexing. The story kept me turning the pages. I look forward to what comes next from this talented author.

Perfect couple
I loved Luciano and Simone. They both live in their own secret worlds. They think they know the truth about each other but they only know what they let the world see. They are drawn to each other in every way possible as much as Simone tries to fight it. They are a power couple once they fully get to the truth of who they really are.

This is book one in the The Santini Assassins series. I was drawn in right away to Luciano and Simone’s story. The plot was so well developed and intriguing. It’s crammed full of danger, suspense, drama, passion and hot $ex! I was on pins and needles all the way to the end. I had no clue who the BM could be. This is an amazing start to, what I predict will be, an awesome series.

I completely devoured this book and didn’t want to put it down! Luciano is well known and liked in the community. Simone had something bad happen to her and she drew back from life. She needed to lick her wounds. But these two had more in common than they realized. I enjoyed the budding relationship between Simone and Luciano. They were good for each other. There was also the constant danger that was lurking. I couldn’t read this book fast enough. Highly recommend!

POWERFUL
Stoni Alexander has pulled it out of the bag again with this book. Always on point with her characters, Luciano and Simone, phew! Their chemistry is off the charts, the storyline grips you from beginning to end. I absolutely loved this book ❤️

Passionate
This is a very passionate story and I’m not only talking about the love and love making. Simone is very passionate about her work and Luciano is very passionate about everything. I love that about him. Awesome book and can’t wait to read his brothers’ stories.

Loved the heat between the main characters as well as the storyline. I have always loved a good suspense with the romance mixed in and the plot was spot on.

There are many kinds of power & these characters use all of them
Liked the story line but got confused with different names for the characters. The conspiracy theory is a central theme easily followed & also mysterious, keeping the reader engaged.
