Apostasy: The Great Falling Away: Will the Antichrist force people leave to the faith?

Rate this book
Will the Antichrist force people leave to the faith? This book examines the warnings of a yet future, great spiritual apostasy – the “great falling away” from the faith, that will occur in the final last days, before the return of Jesus Christ.

Those warnings are clearly written, and as such, should be clearly interpreted and understood. This book will focus on the clarity of those warnings, and to demonstrate to the reader, how it is dangerous for believers to deny the warnings.
The Bible is replete with warnings about falling away from the faith. It teaches us throughout, that believers will face tribulation, and consequently, have to endure to the end. In doing so, the Bible also warns believers about quitting the faith.
Jesus warned “At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.” Paul emphatically wrote about “the apostasy” (hē apostasia). It is not a general, long term departure from the faith that has been observed for generations. Rather, it is one that occurs when the pressure on the followers of Jesus Christ reaches the greatest in the history of mankind.
Many commentators liberally interpret these warnings. They ignore the important grammatical functions of the Greek, and rely on English translations for their exegesis. In doing so, they miss the true meaning of the author’s quote and writing. The descriptions of the apostasy in the eschaton are very specific, and provide a chronology that many commentators deny.
This book avoids that problem for the reader in an easy to read, and comprehendible form. The commentary within is a detailed verse-by-verse study, that will allow you a broader, yet deeper, understanding than perhaps you had before. It provides the details that allow you to develop your own theology, without having one thrown at you. The additional information in the appendix will be especially helpful to the reader.

RALPH YOST has been conducting in-depth studies of the Bible for over 33 years. In his first published Biblical work, "Salvation My Soul To Keep," he critically examines the view held by the majority of Evangelical Christian believers that once a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, their salvation is unconditionally secure (known as perseverance of the saints).

In his second published Biblical work, "Daniel: Man of High Esteem," he critically examines what the scriptures tell us in the Book of Daniel, Daniel's prophecies and about the return of Jesus Christ. He shows how the passages of Daniel are interconnected to the Olivet Discourse and the Book of Revelation.

Professionally, he worked as an engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration for thirty two years performing testing, research and development of the air traffic control system and is now an aviation systems consultant. For years, Yost has published his professional work and has been a public speaker advocating Airborne Internet.
