I would be lying if I say I finished this book out of pure nostalgia. It’s entertaining even though I have a lot of things to say about it.

I found out on the last page that the main characters are 17, and that makes… sense. What I don’t like the most about it is how it romanticizes Karl’s (alarming) possessiveness. There are no ‘sweet’ words or actions that can redeem him for me. I’ve outgrown swooning over men like that. And even years later, just reading some of the chapters remind me that there were a many omitted parts from the original wattpad version. The peak moments felt forced.

Anyways, that’s all it really is for me- entertaining and nostalgic.
