Can I Get a Do Over?: Unforgettable Stories of Second Chances and Life Makeovers

Rate this book
Navigating career changes, switching industries, revisiting a way of life or a relationship—these are the life-altering 'do overs' we face, whether by choice or by circumstance. Up until now, the task has been daunting and for many, impossible. In Can I Get A Do Over?, mega shopping channel QVC's senior host Rick Domeier and inspirational author Max Davis take an up-close look at the amazing people who were courageous enough to seize a do over and overcome great odds and obstacles, literally reinventing whole aspects of their lives.

Through in-depth interviews with everyday people as well as celebrities such as Happy Day's Anson Williams, figure skater Peggy Flemming, and comedian Adam Holtz (aka The Great Holtzie), this lively read takes an entertaining and action-oriented approach to the process of reinventing one's life. Not a how-to book that offers readers steps and tips for change, Can I Get A Do Over? lets its stories encourage and teach by example.

Dubbed as a 'a whirlwind of energy' by Business 2.0 Magazine, Domeier channels his dynamic television personality into a high-octane collection of reinvention stories that will have readers discovering their own inner strength to clean the slate, start fresh, and move on to a better tomorrow.

Another inspirational read. Simple stories of not-so-simple issues people faced head-on. It's NEVER too late to reshuffle the cards you've been dealt. This book gave me a new look at things!
