Bruh, I think the ending will result in everyone they've befriended aiding in the last battle. Bet on it. It's just such a waste. Basically, have the character development gained through losses without the loss.

While I still very much dislike this huge reset of the universe but I still apperciate that they are making some huge changes to this restarted universe so it is not just the same story beats like Shura is not a villain, the Oración Seis Galáctica members are different, Valkyrie is alive and it is an interesting idea having previous villains becoming allies but still a lot of these changes feel like they were just changes for the sake of change. I do wish they would slow down and explain these changes a bit more.

Here's where it gets into peak "Mashima gonna Mashima."

BESIDES the cover—which includes Homura with so much side-boob that it looks like she has one COMPLETELY OUT and curiously missing the most exciting part—we see the return of yet another Girls' Night in the Bath Scene, with the extra "justification" of "It is in the nude that one can most easily activate the Ether in their body."

CLOTHES ARE FOR CHUMPS! (...and men, because male bath scenes don't sell, despite Mashima allegedly trying to rebalance that with Zeref's bath scene that was kind of middling but also a one-off, though I guess Gray Fullbuster "helps" with his perpetual stripteasing)

I mean, it's got some nice scenes, like rejoining with Homura and Laguna and and having Shiki try to BEFRIEND the enemies they had made in the beforetimes. It just also has a VERY LOT of bath scene, and ladies not showing off the REALLY fun parts where the REALLY fun parts ought to be (this in particular takes away my suspension of disbelief, just HOW MUCH SKIN is shown without THAT skin being shown).

I'm getting to a point where shelf space is starting to look better than keeping around my Mashima collection, and while Edens Zero was going to be the title I hung onto of his since the art style is the most consistent, I find I just like the characters of Fairy Tail better (though it helps that we've been able to watch all of Fairy Tail while Edens Zero is partially unavailable on our streaming service: only Season 2 and a "Recap" Season 1 "movie" that is impossible to follow).

I'll finish the series before I decide, though.

Recommended for fans, newcomers should really consider starting at the beginning.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FOLLOWING IS A NOTE TO MYSELF. (You can still read it if you'd like😊, just know that you will hear a lot about rollercoasters, bc I am a coaster enthusiast, you have been warned, I get very nerdy when it comes to that topic).

Yay! Valkyrie is alive in this Universe! This means that i get to know her better as a character and I also get to see her awesome design more often (which I'm happy about, I've always liked her design).
But now, with Valkyrie being alive and all, I'm kinda torn between who my favorite character is, my brain's like: "Do I like Witch or Valkyrie more?" Lol, that is the way I am with my favorite rollercoasters: Goliath (Six Flags over GA) and Batman: The Ride (Also at Six Flags over GA).
And, also, there is an other character and an other coaster that I really like so much IDK if I like them equally as much with the other things in their respective categories (for lack of a better word, lol).
Laguna holds a place in my heart very, and I mean VERY close to Valkyrie and Witch (idk, he just captured my interest), the same goes for Twisted Cyclone (Six Flags over GA).
This just goes to show that I am fascinated by Mashima's characters (and also, rollercoasters and Six Flags over GA, apparently, 😂).
Anyways, enough about rollercoasters, I know it's ridiculous, but I always find a way to talk about them wherever I am and whatever I'm doing, even if I'm writing a review about something that doesn't have anything to do with rollercoasters (Bruh, I'll even talk about them at church, lol.)
The cliffhanger at the end of this volume makes me feel stressed out whenever I think about it, so I HAVE to buy the next one, just as I HAVE to go back to Six Flags, oops, there I go again with the rollercoaster talk, lol. I'm so obsessed with Edens Zero (and rollercoasters) and I worry for my favorite characters' life's, I DO NOT want anyone in the Edens Zero crew to die, and if Mashima does that to me again, I going to cry my life out.

Whenever am I going to buy the next one? It better be soon and Barns and Noble better have it....

4/5 Volume 27 see’s the crew still getting back together. It’s fun but maybe a little too over done that now all of the former baddies seem to mostly be good. Still it’s entertaining to see the situations flipped on their head. I’m having a lot of fun with it.

This volume was the weakest yet. It is my last volume; volume 28 is not yet available to me. I'm suspecting Mashima has lost his muse, so I'll probably pass on the remaining volumes of Edens Zero. I still haven't read Fairy Tale, so I have that to look forward to.

I just knew Homura's memories would be slower to return. Her character has so many layers. The universe reset has been feels more like they will get the happy ending they all deserve.
