Anna and Elsa are preparing for their kingdom’s very first royal ball! Children ages 2 to 5 will love reading how the royal sisters head outside to find flowers for their party and end up rescuing a baby reindeer—with help from Olaf! This brand-new Little Golden Book stars the characters from the award–winning movie Disney’s Frozen.
What makes Frozen so appealing to toddler girls? Is it the sisterhood? The ice powers? The music?
Anna (use caution, it’s A as in AWEsome, NOT Anna- banana. Your not yet 2 year old daughter will immediately correct you) and Elsa are desperate to make their ball spectacular. Apparently crocuses are what they need, and their flower excursion introduces them to a baby reindeer in need. We learn empathy as we strategize ways to save the baby reindeer and bring joy to others at the village’s celebration.
My two-year-old excitedly yanked this book off the shelf at the library, and while we've read it several times (aww-ing over the baby reindeer and talking about how our own crocuses will be popping up soon in the yard), the pacing and storyline of this book is off.
We checked this book out at the library and loved it. It's nice to read a different story with our beloved Frozen characters. In this story, Elsa, Anna, and Olaf spend a day playing in the snow and picking flowers for a royal ball. Along the way, they find a little reindeer who needs help. They save the reindeer and make it to the party on time. A little simple in terms of plot, but cute and colorful.
This is a very quick read where Anna and Elsa plan to throw a ball for the town. They go out to get some flowers together and find a new reindeer trapped (it is not Sven). Anna helps the reindeer get out and then they all go to the ball.
The illustrations are well done, especially the cute ones of Olaf and the reindeer. I think anyone who likes Olaf, Frozen, or the Disney Princesses would like this.
(kuten Arendelissa tuntuu tapana olevan..), kuningatar Elsan taikavoimat kävivät Arendelin asukkaille ilmi.
We stumbled on this book at the library, and because it's about Anna, Elsa, and Olaf, we had to pick it up. My daughter loves Anna. She had a choice of 3 different books, and she picked this as what she wanted to read because it had ANNA!
This story is about Anna and Elsa getting ready to throw a ball. While they are out picking flowers for decorations, they run in to a baby reindeer stuck on a ledge. They have to figure out how to help the baby reindeer. It also has a cameo of Oaken.
The reindeer was actually a very minor part of this story, so it threw me for a loop a little since the title is about the reindeer. But my daughter really enjoyed the baby reindeer. The ending was cute. It's Anna and Elsa so it's always fun.
Anna and Elsa are preparing for a ball, which to me is a little bit of a stretch because I assumed most of this work would have been handled by the servants? They are princesses after all! But I suppose being the hands-on sorts, it's obvious that they need to go out and find that special touch...only the item they find isn't exactly traditional ball decorations.
Cute and a little silly, but fun all the same. The Frozen franchise keeps on going and going. Yet when you think about it - it's a good thing if all that enthusiasm funnels kids into reading more. Anything that puts books into a child's hands is a good thing.
This is a sweet add-on story to the original Frozen . this particular story follows the two sisters while they decide to spend some time together after a long busy day of planning their ball. And in the process of spending some time together while they do a task, they stumble upon a cute little reindeer that they decide to help and then bring home with them. of course no Frozen story would be complete without Olaf.
This was a cute book - the illustrations were really fun. I'm not really sure why it's called A New Reindeer Friend because the reindeer is a very small portion of the book and isn't even the main storyline... but whatever.
Cute little Frozen book that my daughter loved. It was a different story then the movie. This was cute that Anna and Elsa wanted to spend more time together and found a fun, but productive way to do it.
Varmasti Frozen-faneille ihan uppoaa, mikä lienee tarkoituskin.
