I'm going to be really honest here. If you're looking for a great book for kids to learn about the Bible, look elsewhere. This was a HUGE disappointment.
1) There are not 1,000 facts about the Bible. Yes if you count every fact it will come out to 1,000, but if you actually read them there are many repeats just worded differently.
2) There are many facts that have nothing to do with the Bible. Facts that say, "During Bible times people may have..." is not an actual Bible fact.
So, save yourself some time and money and please search for a better book if you want Bible facts.

So this book has lots of repeats which is kinda annoying. I also think that more detail would help me a lot, too.

I totally enjoyed this kid-friendly book. It has just enough information to facilitate rich discussions, and it does much to encourage Bible exploration. There are tons of lessons and research points to delve into.
