Spiritual Wake-up Call
Would highly recommend this book - it is a thought provoking look at the difference between true spirituality and that which can be replicated by man and machine and the danger of replacing worship for the true God with demonic control and influence. As someone with several family members who routinely use AI to increase their professional productively and having found value in LLM myself - I am not ready to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Still, as a Christian this book is a great wake up call to keep eyes wide open for unintended consequences and to be alert for the influences AI could have on culture and biblical prophecy.

Balanced and Beautifully written, offering profoundly prescient wisdom.
Once I started this brief and excellent book, I couldn’t put it down until I’d read the whole thing. Anastasia Bar’s message is not sensational, it’s psychologically and sociologically simple. The has always been only two ways in this world. One is the way of humble self-sacrificing love for others: the way of Christ. The opposite is the way of prideful self-deification and power: the way of every anti-Christ. The question is which one will ultimately be way that controls AI and AGI?

Eye opener.
Thank you for this insight. Thank you for the guidance of seeing the unfolding from OT times through the present. I learned some new information. Some of it was mind blowing, although it shouldn't have been considering we live in a "me" centered time. Thank you for connecting dots for me. As said in the book, we need to be discerning, watchful, & sober minded. God was, is, & ALWAYS will be in control. We need to be wise between tool vs idol. Seek God always. He is TRUTH! Thank you.

As a journalist and author, God of AI is short and directs the readers to what they should be paying attention to when focusing on AI. As Anastasia Bar commands, we cannot turn away. We must face this technology. Not necessarily to embrace it but do know what it can do to our souls. The unknowns are there. She briefly mentions a few players but overall, argues from experience interacting with AI, there will be that match-light moment. It is up to those who dabble to know the risks.
