About the author

Born in Chicago, Illinois Drea Delgado is the newest author on the urban fiction scene. Drea has been writing since she was thirteen years old. At the urging of a friend, she began to write her first untitled novel over the course of a few years. Having shown it to a few friends, they urged her to write, but she never took it seriously.

She won many awards throughout high school for writing. It was in high school where she discovered her love of reading starting with the legendary Donald Goines novels. Drea began to get serious about writing during a very low point in her life. She would sit for hours on end and just write until she couldn't write anymore.

Drea is the author of the Groupie Chronicles series, Professional Freak, Memoirs of an R & B Housewife, Kharma Is A Bitch and Loyalty & Respect.

An author, mom, business owner and advocate. Drea resides in suburban Chicago with her family.

Love it!!!!

Drea u did it again this was so good that I was finish before I realized it, I want to know what's up with Christine and her son Jadien, was Nico really helping Christine, And his Ariel going to find out what her dad did to her abusive boyfriend. And is Tania really mad at Nico this time.

This one was the best one of them all. Mina's actual story was being told with little to no recapping over and over. A few errors but not really taking away from what was going on. It still left a ton open for another book but it was actually entertaining. I didn't like the back and forth though and was starting to skip through but didn't. Mina is growing along with everyone else in the story which makes you want to read more. Better on this one.

Another Good Read!!

I am happy about how it ended and I can't wait to see how Mina's wedding turns out. Mina is finally coming into her own person but I can't help but wonder how did Nico fix his problems with Jaiden, Christian & Kaseem abusive nonsense. I hope it doesn't come back to haunt their family but you never know with Drea's creative mind it never disappoints me!!

I loved this story, it was so touching having the right amount of highs and lows in it. Mina is lucky to have parents who care and would do anything for their kids. very touching ending, a true page turner

I've read all of loyalty and respect and I must say all of them was keep me wanting more.. The only thing I hate is when it's getting good it ends so this leaves me wanting more.. INTERESTING PAGE TURNER.....
