A huge disappointment. A book of 140 odd pages has nothing to offer. This monotonous and poorly written book is further marred by a few factual gaffes. Wish it was thoroughly proof-read before going ahead. To be honest, this book is a great disservice to the career of thelegend SMH Kirmani.
Its a different biography. Written by Kiri and 2 journalists, straight from the heart. Yes, there us repetition, but that repetition takes you to the best era of Indian cricket, so its more like having several helpings of your desert. Throughout the narrative, stands out a man who is humble, simple, sincere, exceedingly gifted, sensitive and bold. You can't help loving Kiri, the best 'keeper India has produced.
