I have mixed feelings about this book. Maybe it’s because I just finished a fantasy book series. I needed something different and easy to read. It’s definitely an easy and quick read and a story that is easy to follow. I really enjoyed the fact that it’s based on ghost from COD.

What I liked a little less was the fact that the main character had some “pick me girl” vibes. I was a little annoyed by it. That feeling subdued a little later in the book. I had to get used on the writing style, but again, maybe because I just finished a fantasy book serie that was written very well. I also found some chapters a little predictable. But that also made the book easy to follow

Overall, I enjoyed the story and liked the COD vibes of it. If you’re into masktok, this would definitely hit the spot!

Absolutely loved this book! I read it in one sitting, I just couldn’t put it down. This military enemies to lovers dark romance was absolutely perfect. The banter was fantastic and the spicy scenes were exquisite! I love Reaper! I highly recommend you read this immediately!!!

Definitely different

I saw the hype for this all over TikTok for awhile and finally had the time to read it. Alexandria did a great job with this one. It is different than anything else I have read and was still really good.

I loved this! Any book where both main characters have actual human flaws instead of superficial nonsense is a win in my book.

The banter was wonderful, the spice was top tier, and the plot was unfamiliar and interesting.

I really enjoyed reading this military enemies to lovers dark romance. It was well written and the banter between the male and female main characters was absolutely fantastic! I ended up laughing a bit at it. The female main character is strong willed and sarcastic which I loved! The male main character was grumpy and closed off in the start but has deeper layers.

There is mentions of SA and mentions and details of torture. Over all this was a great read! I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a good enemy to lovers dark romance!
