I loooooved it. It had appeal because it was easy- going, painted African Americans in a favorable light; it was a simple and more common love story. There aren't a lot of twists and turns and hyper drama and crime. It's the story of 2 respectable people of color, and their beautiful and SWEET love journey. I also loved that it mostly takes place in Europe, and we get a nice description of that as well. I only read this book, and was fine, there's not a whole lot to catch up on.

If you're looking for something leisurely, of color, and sweet, this book's for you!!!!
