Hide your gold, girls, and booze, the landsknechts are coming!
Four swashbuckling stories of early 16th century German mercenaries. Follow the rollicking landsknechts from the twisted streets of Venice to the battered city of Vienna. Whether rescuing back-biting damsels in distress, harrying retreating armies, defying the authorities, plundering, street-fighting, or racing against time to save a besieged city, no soldiers in history could ever swash & buckle with the riotous flamboyance of the German landsknechts.

In the 1500s, the German landsknechts were some of the best, most flamboyant, fighters for hire. Although these are just short stories, a tremendous amount of research went into each adventure. Both modern history books and translated period documents were researched. The colorful history aside, these were all written to be fun action stories. They jump right in with both feet and tend to end up with a mighty roar.
