I actually got to read this book before final publication, as an editor. I highly recommend. Kristy’s voice is heard throughout the book. She is honest and real with her experiences, ideas, and journey. Reading this book took me on a rabbit trail into her blog, other books she has, and her story.
While many of us may have different eating disorders or other struggles, the overall message is clear: we cannot do it without God. We cannot overcome any of our battles by fad dieting or medication or covering things up or making ourselves busy. We will never truly be healed. So many of the suggestions in the book resonated with me.
I think any reader will find the setup of the book and organization valuable and helpful. The QR codes have such helpful information, especially the one with the Bible verses that can be posted all over your house or car or work. Meal plans and ways to bring variety into foods without eating the foods that are bad for us were well researched.
Buy the book. It’s worth reading, and then you can recommend it to others too.
I am honored to have been given the opportunity to review Kristy McCammon's book, "Life Unbinged." Not only does Kristy do a wonderful job of connecting with the reader and providing practical tools for your weight loss journey, but she is also relatable to many of us who need to hear the testimony of another sister in Christ who has taken the journey to give us hope in ours. Get ready for a transformation from the inside out. I also love her tagline on the back cover: "Get Up, Look Up, and Never Give Up!"
I read some good points in this book, but some of the things that were said would cause some serious mental issues. So please be careful if you have an eating disorder!
