I’ve read every book that R. Collins has to offer and this is one of my personal favorites and I think anyone who enjoyed Bleeding Blackheart definitely needs to check this one out as well. It’s a much different story but I think the MMCs are similar in a lot of ways.
It’s taboo of course because she is a literal nun and he is in a motorcycle gang and the tension that builds between them makes you feel the full weight of their decisions. The expectations the people in their lives set for them drives a lot of the drama.
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the way the author was able to intertwine the two very different worlds each of the characters come from in the finale of the book. (I refuse to say anything else but it’s amazing!)
I didn’t expect for things to heat up between the characters so quickly but it always felt very organic. A specific shower scene IYKYK had me feeling some kind of way and was a huge highlight of the book. There is also a 🩸play scene and several encounters in semi-public situations. Not for the prudish but the spice is absolutely incredible.
I love the grumpy sunshine dynamic they have and seeing Ariadne and Blake cut loose together and find common ground as they build their relationship is engaging throughout. He is morally grey, unalives people, and has all the usual motorcycle gang trappings but evolves into a much more understanding person and would do anything for her in the end despite being rough around the edges.
Ariadne has a troubled past which led her to the life of a nun and is second guessing the decisions she made (obviously 😂) and has a strong moral compass but is ready to finally revel in all the debauchery that she’s been avoiding for her 29 years on earth and revel in it she does.
This is absolutely a 5-Star read that I recommend everyone buy!

Test of faith.. In true love
Ever picked up a book to read but felt guilty and excited to read it..blushing ...blasphemous and feeling slightly ashamed because it's so good and it's somewhat a taboo subject... well ..it's that kind of book..a innocent nun is saved by a biker.. a biker who is a alpha biker gang dude.. I'll let you enjoy in private😘

This one SETS THE SCENE by the end of chapter 1 & had me itching for more of the MC’s, Blake & Ariadne.

I’m all about a little forbidden love and I loved every second of this one. The banter between them had me laughing & giddy. Ariadne’s struggle between her faith & Blake had my heart aching at times. I fell in love with all the characters & truly felt everything right along with them.
Now the spice was spiicyy. 🔥
Ahem, there are lessons for this naughty nun. Enough said. Oh, and did I mentioned he tattoos her? 👀
I honestly devoured this one & would definitely REREAD just to experience it again. There were twists and connections that I would have never put together & they all came together beautifully by the end! ♥️
P.s. If you’ve read the Wild White Orchid series, you’ll love some of the easter eggs!

r. collins has be asking what’s next as soon as I finish a book
I’m trying to be spoiler free in this but the ending has me like uh… I surely believe Ari should be able to attend church if she wants to! But that aside, loved the tie in to other books and loved Blake and Ariadne. For a late bloomer so to speak, she was ready and willing to learn some things! Sometimes you have the leave the only place you’ve ever known to find your true home.

I’ve discovered an author who, in my opinion, can do no wrong. Her storytelling consistently captivates me, and she just keeps knocking it out of the park with every new release. The Wild Orchid series holds a special place in my heart; it’s a treasure that sparks joy, and I will forever keep a flame lit for it.
Now, let’s dive into her latest offering, *Savior*. This book is absolutely delicious—an exquisite read that tantalizes like a gourmet meal. As I indulge in the story, I find myself deeply resonating with the emotions and experiences of the characters, each of whom evokes feelings in me that I recognize and cherish.
The writing is imbued with remarkable depth and clarity, allowing me to appreciate the intricate details woven into the lives of the main characters. Blake, the owner of a motorcycle club, epitomizes the quintessential badass. He’s rugged, daring, and exudes an irresistible allure. On the other hand, we have Ariadne, a nun who has lived a sheltered life, confined to the duties of her religious vocation. Apart from her commitment as a nun, she has little experience of the outside world, making her character all the more intriguing.
The chemistry between Blake and Ariadne is electric, brimming with sexual tension that builds to an almost unbearable degree. Their paths cross in a way that feels both inevitable and transformative, and when they finally come together, it’s as if the tide has turned dramatically, ebbing and flowing with passion.
This is the fifth book I’ve read by this author, and I am utterly enchanted. She has an incredible ability to evoke such profound emotions within me, leaving me over the moon thrilled with my reading experience. I’m officially a lifelong fan, and I sincerely hope that others will take the opportunity to explore this talented writer's work. I believe she has the potential to soar to even greater heights with her future books.

Saint, Savior or Sinner?
This book is the fifth one I have read by R. Collins and each one has been stellar! The books are so good that I am unable to even begin to pick a favorite. In addition, Ms. Collins has the singular talent for creating dark and intimidating male characters and while readers can feel those elements of danger, these devastating men also have an underlying hint of vulnerability and sweetness (le sigh). In Savior, our two main characters could not be any further apart in circumstances, demeanor and sensibilities. Ariadne has no (known) family and is a product of the foster care system; however, she has found her calling and family in the church as a nun. She personifies the teachings of the church; she is kind, pious (well, pious adjacent) and giving of herself. When she is attacked on her way back to the convent, she is rescued by Blake, president of the Steadfast Saviors MC. Blake is lean, mean and somewhat jaded by life, but he can see the inherent goodness of Ariadne’s nature. As he works to ensure her safety, the pair find themselves pulled together in an unlikely camaraderie. But surely this one-time and unexpected meeting will be the last time they are together, because there is no path that will take them in the same direction, or is there? I LOVED everything about this story: the funny dialog, Adriadne’s spicy innocence, Blake’s raunchy, yet tender version of love, the unforeseen breadcrumbs leading readers to other books by this amazing author, and the nail-biting tension of the final conflict (surprise, surprise!!). I highly recommend this book and all of the other stories by this innovative author; her books are delightfully dark (like midnight in a cypress swamp dark) but emotionally raw and with sooooo much sweetness!
