If you’re looking for romance, turn back. You’ll not find it in this book. Not ever a teardrop of it lol. Instead we’re regaled with the tales of the wh0re of london. Her rise from poverty and being dumped by a cheating boyfriend to finding a way into an online pay for sex platform to enjoying every sexual kink and depravity you can think of and more. The smut felt so clinical(just like this review lol) and I read like a sex ed textbook. It was quite entertaining & enlightening.

So, I picked up The Naughty List with exactly one expectation: pure, unfiltered, no-holds-barred smut. And guess what? IT. DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. This was my first dive into unapologetic, plotless smut, and wow, it was like a kink buffet—every chapter brought something new to the table, and all of it was spicy. 🌶️🔥
Meet Ella, our broke goth queen turned online “naughty marketplace” star, taking on challenges that range from steamy to straight-up jaw-dropping. Zero romance, zero plot, just a whole lot of creativity. This book was more of an experience than a story.

✧ No emotional depth. I knew going in that there’d be no romance, but zero growth or layers made it feel flat at times. 😕
✧ The abrupt ending. It just… stopped? I literally turned the page expecting more. 😑
If you’re here for SMUT (all caps), this book delivers and then some. But if you’re looking for anything remotely resembling a plot, character arcs, or feels? Girl, RUN. 🏃♀️

be so serious right now… this book is 20% plot and 80% the smuttiest of smut. like yes there IS a story somewhere in here (goth girl, broke, desperate to get home for christmas, signs up for a site called THE NAUGHTY LIST???), but let’s not pretend the plot wasn’t just a flimsy excuse to connect spicy scenes together.
ok but real talk it got SO shocking at one point i legit stopped reading and yelled at my husband like ‘WHAT IS GOING INSIDE HER?’ and then stared at my book in pure gobsmacked horror. like i did not see that coming and my brain just…paused.
did i expect depth? no. did i expect character development? also no. did i still keep reading because it was chaotic and kind of ridiculous? unfortunately yes.
weston is hot, the vibes are unhinged, and the christmas spirit is… horny. if you’re looking for festive filth where your brain can fully power down, congrats, this will do it. if you’re looking for anything more than vibes and spice, maybe keep it moving.

This was probably the filthiest book that JW has written and that says a lot 👀. She did not mess around 😭.
It had everything that you could think of, and pretty much every kink that she's ever written in all of her books combined into one. There wasn't a drop of romance in this (aside from a minuscule bit in the end), and was just some very filthy fun.
After the introduction to the story, each chapter was pretty much a different smutty scenario and oml 🌚 Some of the scenes hsdshdafe.
The book was really impersonal in the sense that it was just 100% smut, so if you're looking for something like that, I'd definitely check this one out. It was just so on-brand for JW 😌💅.

This is not a romance with a HEA. This is about a kinky af girl who starts working as a sex worker while rediscovering herself after a tough break up.
