These short stories were so damn good and well written. This one had me shook. There are very few characters I consider a villain I truely hate. This author wrote the perfect villain I wanted such death for. Like I wanted this dude to suuuuuuuuffer. As this went there was some schemes I was here for. As this gs started moving i was scared things were the opposite and although I wish I could have pat Ador on the back I wanted her to have her revenge so damn bad. I didn't like how this ended at allllll but man it was good. This one was pretty violent compared to the other.
NB - THIS STORY CONTAINS SCENES OF GRAPHIC PHYSICAL AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE.
The first book of this authors fantasy epic "Upon The Sands" was big, well plotted and layered. I loved it, and decided to jump into the Sun, Moon, Sand And Star series. The results for me there have been mixed, with some entries blowing me away (The Missing) and others falling short.
However, this story was amazing. It is by far my favourite entry in these shorter tales. I actually think it has the ability to be extended into a full length novel, and it is my hope that one day, the author might attempt this.
This is a no spoiler review. It is a dark tale of terrible people pursuing terrible ends... and the sorrowful twists of fate which undoes the small piece of good which may have come about.
This book right here, raffled up some of my feathers, because WTF?????!!!!! I was taken on a rollercoaster and a half! I fell in love with most of the characters but despised one specific Wingflow who pissed me off. Like why are you even like that??!! Sigh…overall, Jeremy Sir, a book is meant to spark emotions in my opinion and this did just that and more. Just purchased “The Little Fairleaf”, can’t wait to explore more of your brilliance.
