Spirit Mate Series #10

Henry's Pia and Family Reunions

Rate this book
HENRY is a tall, dark chocolate, smooth skinned black brotha, that everyone calls “PRETTY BOY”! He is so unnaturally attractive that to call him good looking or handsome would be an insult. He considers his looks a curse, because not only does he look like the male version of his mother; he inherited ‘blue eyes’ from a recessed gene of an unknown ‘white’ grandparent.

He is the salesman and part owner of his family’s construction company. He has a knack for selling most anything to anybody and the ability to backup his product. But, the one thing he cannot sell is himself! No woman has ever taken him serious, because he’s too pretty to be anything but a ‘playa’. Women are more than willing to play with him...but not for keeps! He has watched his brother, sister and most of his cousins find their spouses or “spirit” mates, yet he is still a lonely man! He, and his family, has moved into the estate of his uncle, Brock; the most powerful Nephilim in the world, to build a community. Even though he is alone, he hasn’t given up hope.

PIA is the niece of one of the Watchers on BROCK’s team. She is a beautiful none pretentious country girl. Excited to finally meet the uncle she never knew, she and her entire family come to BROCK’s estate for a Family Reunion.

When Henry sees PIA, sparks fly! He knows at last he has found Mrs. Henry Walker! And vows nothing and no one will get in his way.

When Pia see’s HENRY she knows she’s who he’s been looking for. She declares that she is the happiness he’s been in pursuit of! They may not be “SPIRIT” mates... But, their “SOULS” are mated for all eternity.

This story made me laugh, cry, reflect and repent. Now that's a lot going on in this story.

What happens when you discover that you have been totally wrong about a person? And you damn them to hell? Only to realize that it was all a mistake and you completely missed the mark about the person.

Besides love was in the air also in this book, Henry and Pia got married and their wedding was beautiful. Three more matches have been made. Long lost siblings have been found and reunited with their parents and Brock gets another brother, for him family is everything. New pregnancies have been announced and the family just keeps growing.

The thing about Love is that it goes hand in hand with Repentance. Love and Forgiveness goes hand in hand. This story dealt with that, with being caught up and losing sight and misunderstanding. This story dealt with humility and how to make a wrong, right. And although the story centered on Henry and Pia's wedding, it also dealt with the above mentioned and how when we are confronted with what we have done wrong, how we handle it.

I know for me, it has forced me to think about a number of things I have had in my heart against people. And coming to terms with that, forgiving them and finally letting go. Will we ever break bread together (probably not) but just to release them and let God deal with them is good enough for me.

If you have not read this series I implore you to start with Book 1 "Brock's Redemption". Once you start reading this series you will never look back. I will start Book 11 "The Brothas & The Greatest Gift (A "Spirit" Mate Love Story Book 11)" once I go on my school break.

Well Until My Next Review Ciao Bellas!

I loved this book, again well written. More laughter and tears with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride. I love how the story continues and there is always something new to peak the readers interest. You can actually feel the emotions of each character they seem so real.

Judging

It's always been said don't judge a book by its cover and this book brings that to life. Pre-judging can have damaging effects that last a lifetime. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing how people react when their eyes are opened to the truth.

A book by EJ Brock is one of the few that I can finish in hours. Looks like they found Brock and Doc's only other Watcher brother, and you will find more laughs and tears with the antics of the children, Henry (Howard and Lucinda's son) finding his Lady, Pia, as well as the entire family. I'm excited to get to read the next book in the series.

Henry Found the One

With his cousin Dawn’s help, Henry meets his mate. The chemistry between Henry and Pia was instant and explosive. Several reunions take place and the Watchers continue to fight for humanity. Another great book in the Spirit Mate series. Now on to the next book.

This book 10 in the series and Henry "Pretty Boy" and Pia's story.

The series is riveting and Henry meets his Mate Pia who has blue eyes just like him.

The family keeps on growing and members of the family keep on finding long lost relatives, include Sal and Brock. The jokes just keep on coming along with the surprises and the pregnancies.

I really, really enjoying the series and have not read anything else but this series for days. On to book 11.

Well, no surprise. I liked this book! Henry and Pia's attempts to getting their freak on was quite funny. Butttt, that's not why I enjoy this series, lol! These books just pull you in and have you wondering what will happen next. The possibilities of different stories out of a single book is endless! Akibeel story has become very interesting. Can't wait to see where that goes! If you are looking for some great books to read, here you are. I'm hooked!

And there is another!

It appears that Brock has another brother. The demons have been busy keeping Akibiel from knowing whose team he truly belongs with, yet, his character doesn’t fail. Another watcher is brought into the fold and another watcher family is reunited.

Unions and Reunions

This family is so large that unions are commonplace, but it really warmed my heart for Brock to find Akibeel, embrace him and watch him bloom!
