OMGG within the first 30 something pages I knew this one was gonna take me on a journey for sure. Bandit has to endure a lot of emotional heartbreak in his young formative years and Kayla helps him to navigate all that, all the while trying to start a music career and not let all his loss drown him! This is a story about overcoming loss and heartbreak all the while finding love, with some hot 🥵 sex involved! With words like “all I want you to do is rip your clothes off and ride you cowgirl style”🥵 orr “If you don’t stop moving like that I’m going to cum too quickly. You feel so fucking good.” He says. Then there’s “Will you stop teasing me? I need you to lick me or fuck me. I need to cum.” Fuck me! Hearing her talk like that makes me so hard it hurts! Like Damnnn the sex alone will have you trying to catch your breath butt the love story that unfolds will keep you locked in!🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵🥵🥰

This is the first book ever to make me cry. Bandit is a young boy when his life goes awry. Completely derailed. And from then on out he loses almost everyone close to him! The amount of loss is immeasurable. For him to come out of it on the other side and be successful in his dreams for him and his family is so heroic! I love this book. It fit very nicely with the rest of the South Haven series. All around it’s a beautifully written tragedy with a happy ending! Emotional rollercoaster for sure! I haven’t personally lost anyone close to me to know exactly how he felt but I still felt the pain right along with him! 5 stars and 10/10 highly recommend! ❤️

This book was great! It just was alittle short and I kept feeling like it read like an autobiography. They maybe because I knew going into it was about someone but I am not sure. Maybe it is because I felt like there should have been more angst! I have never read a book only from the males point of view so that’s interesting. I feel like if we would have gotten Kayla’s side to that would have really helped. I did really enjoy this book tho! And it had a great one liner I told my husband about and her laughed. “Fuck the pizza I’ll eat you instead”. “There isn’t a timeline on grief and not everyone heals like others think they should” is another quote that is going to stick with me forever!

My honest ARC review.
Way to go ma'am I am so glad I got to ARC for you. I have very much enjoyed Bandit. It's just a wonderful flow. I got so lost in his story. So .such so that I would put it down to do something and come back, "Oh wow, I did not realize I read this much."
Bandit has had so much heartache in a short time. Kayla has been by his side for it all. I felt this was a wonderful story, someone starting from the bottom to the top. Bandit is a smooth read with the perfect amount of spice.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love this book so much!! I so relate to Bandit, I lost so many close family members...I lost my Aunt when I was 13 years old, I lost one of my little sisters in 2008...I lost my Aunt/Godmother in April of 2018, then turned around a month later in May of 2018 I lost my dad... Then in 2023 I lost my great uncle and my other uncle/godfather... Then February 15 2024 on my birthday I lost my grandmother and lastly I lost another one of my baby sisters January 2025.... So I definitely know how he feels, because each time I felt a piece of my heart breaking... I definitely was a daddy's girl and grandma girl, I feel so deep into depression that I shut everybody and everything out.... My husband and my kids have been my rock!!

While the concept of the story was really good it felt super rushed and a lot of holes while at the same time, extras added that didn’t need to be there.
Bandit went thru a lot of hardship in a short amount of time but it almost felt excessive and unrealistic. And because it kept happening so fast, I couldn’t emotionally get attached to any of the characters. The intimate scenes also felt forced. Like the wording was too basic and it didn’t pull me in.
