A short, but effective read!
Lynn Davis puts things in perspective. If you're having issues with toxic emotions or are dealing with toxic people in your life, this book helps put things in perspective so that you can handle the situation from a Christian standpoint.
The Kindle version had several grammatical errors and a few spacing issues, but please overlook them and read this book. You'll be calmer for doing so.

The writing gave some affirmatives then are solid and are needed into this trying time. The coming of the Lord is at hand and we need solid words and directives to make it to the end.

This book really helped me realize my emotional strongholds. I was able to write down scriptures to study when face with negative emotions. I will also use the techniques with my staff to help manage stress.

Very up lifting book recommend highly. This book speaks to you and how to deal with stress a lolnd fear and anxiety. The author gives examples how handle these situations and I absolutely love that.

Easy straightforward reading

Seems like this book was written for me
I have been through a lot of bad things like deployment, dangerous situations, and dealing with people that have just drained my energy. Its nice to know that even if it may seem that I am alone, God is always there. This book gives a lot of good advice about bringing your burdens to the lord and seeing every challenge in life as God's way of preparing you for the next blessing. I also like what is said about setting boundaries with other people while still being supportive. This is the first book I have read by Lynn Davis and I definitely will be reading the next in the series.

Great book
I really needed to read this book. I have some serious anger issues and many times I don't know how to deal with them. I pray and ask God to deliver me from them continuously. You can go through life not even realizing negative emotions are eating away at you. And who can deliver us from those negative emotions the Lord. I truly learned something and I will use as a reference. A Good read.....
