Every Witch Way but Lost: A Talking Cat Cozy Mystery

Rate this book
Death stalks the witches… but this cat’s on the case.Things have gone from bad to cursed. Two witches are dead, snuffed out by a sinister spell, and it’s clear a dark magic is prowling our enchanted streets. Whoever is behind this knows the forbidden arts inside and out… and they’re just getting started.

Between chasing down clues and herding a litter of chaos-loving magical kittens, I’ve got my paws full. But when my wonderful witch, Zandra Crypt, disappears, and I realize she fits the killer’s victim profile to a whisker, this mystery turns terrifyingly personal.

The angels? Useless, as always. They’re too busy writing reports about my “attitude problem” to notice witches dropping like flies. So it’s up to me to claw through the lies, sniff out the truth, and face a foe who plays dirty with dark magic.

Time is running out, the shadows are closing in, and I’ll risk every one of my nine lives to bring my witch home.

***Book eighteen in the Magical Misfits Mysteries delivers heart-pounding stakes, magical mayhem, and a talking cat who refuses to quit. Perfect for fans of witchy cozy mysteries, paranormal sleuths, and twisty supernatural small-town whodunits brimming with warmth, wit, and whiskers.

Curl up with a cup of something soothing and return to Crimson Cove, where cats talk, witches fight back, and murder never stays buried for long.

EVERY WITCH WAY BUT LOST is the eighteenth installment in the Magical Misfits Mysteries series by K.E. O'Connor. As always, the plot is excellent with fascinating characters, humor, and unexpected twists and turns. This is a fun series to read with magical mysteries, murders and strange happenings.

Magic is misfiring in Crimson Cove with spells backfiring onto the sender. Even the simplest spells are going  wonky. Angel Force has put Zandra in jail for murder. Juno must avoid AF and save her wonderful witch from prison and find out who or what is interfering with the magic? Juno may need to access her demi-god magic, but can she still handle all that power?  This will be Juno's biggest and most important battle since losing most of her magic. Will she lose more than her magic?

I really enjoy this series, but I feel the end is close, or maybe not. I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this fun, cozy mystery, and the above is my honest and freely given review. I also recommend this series to anyone who loves entertaining mysteries and wise talking cats.

Every Witch Way But Lost - a review by Rosemary Kenny.

Magical Misfits Mysteries Volume 18, by K. E. O'Connor, is Every Witch Way But Lost...and it seems likely to be the mournful end of an era for witch Zandra and her magical cat Juno's time together, as things get more than a little crazy in Crimson Cove.
A drunken evening out leads to unexpected consequences for our magical twosome...and for everyone in town, too. What's going on?

My lips are sealed, but you can find out, by getting your hands on Every Witch Way But Lost right now - it's demonically entertaining!

The evil is uncovered and secrets are revealed. Juno is in real trouble and I don’t think things are going to end in her favor. I’m ready for the spin-off series!
