This is an Orthodox Jewish prayer book. It contains all the prayers in English and Hebrew required for the recitation of the various prayer services for Rosh Hashanah. It contains a lot of directions and a brief summary of Jewish laws pertaining to the holiday. Very helpful. Most Jewish prayer books of this kind expect you to know what to do already. Including helpful directions is what has contributed to this book's wide-spread popularity.

Since Rosh Hashana is a two-day holiday I read through the book (mostly aloud) twice, once each day. I am only counting this book as one reading because I didn't read every word. I was praying as an individual while some prayers in a Jewish service require a minyan to recite. In Orthodox Judaism, a minyan is ten Jewish males age 13 or older.

Will I read this book again? Very likely.
