Kidnapped. Betrayed. And engaged to my sworn enemy.

Kai, Kyrian, and Logan were never my allies—they were fae warriors sent to capture me. But when a fae army led by Kyrian's power-hungry stepbrother ambushes us, suddenly my life isn't the only thing at stake.

Kai's solution? Claim me as his royal fiancée. Now I'm trapped in a dangerous charade, forced to play the part of a prince's adoring bride to my kingdom's immortal enemy.

Every glance sears. Every touch tempts. Every fake kiss threatens to undo me.

And it's not just Kai. All three warriors watch me with fire in their eyes—like they'd burn the world to have me. My body, my magic, my heart.

But I can't forget the truth: they are my enemies. And falling for them could destroy me.

My Rating: 3 stars but lowkey feels like 2.5

I'll start off by making it clear that I can and have overlooked grammar mistakes in books. I am not a nitpicky person when it comes to the general editing of a book. HOWEVER, the sheer amount of mistakes in this book was SO DISTRACTING. It got to the point where I was highlighting them myself so I could stop feeling like I was the problem for having a problem with the mistakes. Considering that there was a 10-month gap between the release of Book #1 and #2, I'm expecting (at the very least) for it to have been properly edited. I don't remember having this issue in the first book. It made me lowkey not enjoy this book as much, and that's such a bummer. It felt like the author rushed this one out the door for the sake of releasing a book. If this is the type of quality I can start to expect from future releases, then I won't be finishing this series. I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Since this book had some time between releases and I didn't want to reread book #1, I had a hard time remembering the MMCs. I would have loved it if the author had redescribed them just one more time somewhere in the beginning of this book, so I could make note of it, but she didn't. It was a passing comment here and there on one's eye color and another's hair color. I would have loved some more detail.

This book felt like one big filler. I kept wanting to move on from this camp, but there we were for the entire book. The ending really ended with a bang, but by that point, I was so frustrated that I was just kinda over it. As you can tell by now, this one did not pull me in like the first book did.

I'm hoping things pick back up in the next book, but we'll see ♡

This second book does offer a bit more information as to the actual background of the MMCs and I have to say that the true nature of the draken is rather interesting. The FMC struggles with her new reality, not to mention the sting of betrayal that came with the unsaid truths. I did not enjoy this one as much as the first book, but I am interested enough to see how it ends. Unfortunately, I thought this was a duet, but the ending of this second book leaves everything in shambles, so hopefully another book will be released soon.

Plot: 5/5 • Smut: 3.5/5 —————> I waited 11 months for this one. Counted down the days. It did not let me down. This follows exactly where the first one ends. Kai, Kylain and Logan all making up for their “wrongdoings”.

In this one you’ll have scenes of royalty, exhibitionism, ancient ruins, war, disowning of family members. and of course a huge cliffhanger.

MY ONLY NEGATIVE COMMENT: it was too short. two hundred something pages. I knocked this out in less than 8 hours. I needed and want more. Loved every second of this. I can not recommend these enough.

Please edit more thoroughly

This review is only 4 stars for me because there are a TON of editing issues. Nearly one on every page. Most seem like talk-to-text was used in conjunction with a basic spell check, because the word used will be spelled correctly and sound similar to the word that should have been used. There are plenty of other editing issues though and all of them had me stumbling through a story that I was otherwise loving. The first book had a few of these issues but nowhere near as many as this one. I love the storyline and the well-developed characters, and fully intend to read this series in its entirety.

Umm excuse me? What just happened?
Wow this book threw me for a loop in so many ways and I want to talk it out but I will try not to have any spoilers!
First, why aren't the men talking to her? Are we going full force into the miscommunication trope here. Rowan thinks they don't even like her and are only keeping her for her magic talents. We of course know this is wrong because we get their point of view in the chapter.
I like how Rowan takes everyone's input about how her magic is hurting others and really sits with it. She does argue a bit but she has good insights. She really changes her thoughts in this book but still is characteristically herself from the first book.

In a twist of events in order to save Rowan, Kai announced that she is his betrothed and that they will be keeping her safe. Not the Flurry prince of the encampment they have ran to. It was interesting to see how he reacted with her and never pushed things on her. I was happy for the character growth shown in Rowan and Kai. I just wish the other 2 main characters got the chance in this book.
Logan is so sweet and shy in this book unlike the last one and I wish he had more of a presence but he liked to stay in his wolfy form.
Kieran also didn't get as much time in this book but he remembered a lot of things about Rowan and helped her open up to the other 2.
There were some typos and one chapter was mislabeled in the wrong POV. I really wish we got more character depth in this with Logan and Kieran but at least we got to see a side of Rowan and Kai.

Fated to Flurry was a good read but there were things that I liked and disliked about this story. I don't want to give too much away since this story picks up where the previous story left off but I will say that in this story Rowan is feeling betrayed and angry and stay that way most if not all of this story. There were quite a few parts in this story where I felt that the pace of it was too slow and the steamy scenes were too drawn out. Don't get me wrong I enjoy good steamy scenes, but I also love a book to has just as much story. I didn't love this book as much as I did the first story, but I do want to know how everything ends for Rowan, Ellie, Kai, Kyrian, Logan and a few other characters we were introduced to in this book. This story has threats, lies, truths, steamy scenes, war, untapped powers, enemies, allies, surprises and ends with a cliffhanger that leaves readers wanting to know what will happen.

The frustration I feel that the author released a book that can barely be counted as a book only 200ish pages is insane. I enjoyed this book and continue to enjoy the story line but, you could tell this was pushed out quickly, I noticed multiple spelling errors and grammatical errors, I continue to really like the FMC and the world building. However it just felt too rushed and very short only to end in an abrupt cliff hanger, I almost wish Lidell would've spent more time writing a longer book and stopping at a more organic place than cranking something so short out so quickly. I am excited for book three but hope it's longer.

Endless

To be fair the plot is good. The endlessness of the filler is not. You got her into Flurry at the end of the first book, to make an antidote. Yet in the entire second book not one time was she even given the opportunity to try. She didn’t meet Lilith, she didn’t try to find out what she needed to do, nothing. There was zero plot development. Anyone who reads this kind of story k owes there are always hidden agendas on both sides. That is not plot development. So pretty please, get to the point.

Golden

In true bard fashion, the author weaves a spell around your emotions, inviting you to feel he deepening of bonds of four unlikely soulmates. Is it betrayal, rescue, love, lust, or just plain destiny? How will Rowan handle the truth of what she has unwittingly created? Will she be true to her soul and the men who would already die for a woman born of their sworn enemy? Or will she betray them and run back to the mother who hates her as much as she needs her skills?

I do love the creativity encountered every time I read the authors works, the worlds always feel so interesting and I'm always left wanting more, as they feel so addictive.
That said, it was disappointing to see so many minor mistakes that should have been picked up in editing. It's understandable that some will slip through, being that we are all human, but this was a bit more than the odd one.
Can't wait for the next in the series.

Fated to Flurry

In Rowans second book we get lots of secrets revealed and lots of action and even betrayals. I loved Rowen and her men and I really cant wait to see what we learn about her mother and the humans. And that ending was both heartbreaking and awsome. Definitely cant wait for the next book

I want to give this 5 stars so badly. I love this story, adored book 1, anxiously awaited book 2, and loved it as well. That said, the amount of typos/improper use of words and bad use of commas and periods kind of dampened it down to 4 stars.

So good! I wish each book was longer. My heart was racing at the ending scene and the cliff hanger killed me. I love every character and cant wait to see what happens. Hopefully it won't be long until the next book is released?

great storyline

There were a lot of little errors in the book that I noticed but the story is great and the cliffhanger is brutal since I have to wait for book 3. I really enjoy Lidell’s writing.

I truly think Rowan in insufferable and these were the most stupid reasons I have ever read for someone to have to have sex. A blowjob to stop a war? Seriously?

Are we selling us the story chapter by chapter?
This book wasn't nearly long enough.

Also, the dub-con should have a warning.

I enjoyed the story, but it needs an edit for some of the spelling errors etc which it made it difficult to read. “Rope”instead of “robe”, and some of the sentences didn’t make sense.

Still entertaining… why did I think this was a completed series?
Interesting… didn’t think “that would en the Draken” that would choose her…
