Symphony of Swords

Rate this book
The dust has begun to settle over the city of Brumex and Octavia’s small, yet fierce
band of warriors are the ones to emerge victorious.

This victory is crucial in their fight
against the cunning Lord Steward, but victory alone is not enough to tip the scales in their
favor. If Octavia hopes to rally enough strength to march west and take the battle to Rhoric
Amir’s doorstep, she’ll have to earn the loyalty of her bannermen, the selfish Lords and
Ladies of Harth. Such an undertaking will be no easy task…
The assassin Grim intends to use the reprieve to lick his wounds and reflect on the
road that has led him here. But reflection can be a dangerous thing—doubly so when
you’ve walked a path as dark as the Reaper’s… He’s spent over half of his life running, now
when he least expects it, the past seems to have caught up to him, and no small amount of
justice is in order…
Eriana, the stoic Commander of the Wolf Legion, grows weary of the fruitlessness of
Harthian politics. Her frustrations continue to mount, as the kingdom remains locked in a
civil war. Octavia and her advisors’ gazes are set to the west—on Everharth, the capital of
the kingdom and seat of power in Harth. But Eriana knows well where the true threat lies.
The danger is in the east. A shadow that looms over all the world. A shadow no one other
than her seem to believe exists…
Belief or no—Harth’s days are numbered. They must find a way to end the civil war in
time to mount a proper defense, or they’ll all perish. Time is running out...

Terrific saga

I loved the 3 books but was disappointed that it is continuing on without the 4th book in series available. I highly recommend the series. Always keeps you wanted to read more.
