This book has the potential to transform your perspective on work, living, and the true meaning of wealth.

If you're really attached to the fake security of your 9-to-5 job or the so-called freedom of being an overworked entrepreneur, you might not like this book. But if you're open to questioning the norm and looking at things from a new angle, you'll find it refreshing and thought-provoking.

The art of wasting your time doesn’t translate into intellectual laziness or eternal vagabonding. It’s about being open to wonder, adventure, miracle, and serendipity. It’s about being comfortable with uncertainty. “Creativity starts with an empty calendar,” Naval Ravikant wrote, “and ends with a full one.” You seldom live more gracefully than when you waste your time.

If you’d expect this to be another regular self help book, you’d be disappointed. It’s more like a fresh breath of air. A very personal and organically harvested collection of aphorisms on great profound thinkers and thoughts on lifestyle design.

This book put to words many things I feel, wanted to do, and already do.

After writing this review, I returned to the book and found an aphorism that talks about the above:
"We read books to find out what we already know but find it hard to express."

It was easy to read (not because of the language, but because of how it is written) and very shareable. It's a book I'll be referring back to a lot. I would recommend it.

You could read this book all in one go. But it is best to read a couple of pages every day.

"Even Michelangelo would have trouble getting out of bed if he had nothing but a day of spreadsheets ahead. It's impossible to imagine Leonardo da Vinci working for a corporation or being a government bureaucrat"

I don’t want to be a well-paid corporate employee for the same reason I don’t want to be a well-fed lion in a zoo.
