Chains of Retribution: No Cage Unbroken

Rate this book
In the shadows of cruelty, justice sharpens its edge.

Lottie is no ordinary woman. Beneath her charm and wit lies a relentless drive for vengeance, born from a childhood of unimaginable torment. When justice fails and the cruel walk free, Lottie steps in, delivering her own brand of retribution to those who harm the innocent—especially animals who cannot fight for themselves.

With a chain in one hand, a wire in the other, and a crowbar always within reach, Lottie methodically dismantles the lives of her targets. Each tool she wields reflects her calculated approach to the wire for precision, the chain for control, and the crowbar for when brute force is the only answer. Collecting the tags of her victims as tokens of promises kept, she walks a fine line between righteousness and darkness.

But when a past victim emerges from the grave—alive, vengeful, and intent on exposing her—the hunter becomes the hunted. As secrets unravel and tensions rise, Lottie must navigate her own unraveling psyche while staying one step ahead of those who seek to destroy her.

Chains of Retribution is a dark, gripping thriller packed with sharp twists, chilling suspense, and moments of biting humor. Perfect for fans of morally complex antiheroes and edge-of-your-seat storytelling.

Very interesting story about a Dexter- like female character who goes against animal abusers. There were some characters who seemed to have big things about to happen but would disappear from the story. Generally, the author did a good job of painting the pictures of what is happening and making the characters relatable.

You find yourself rooting for the main character and wishing she were a real person facing these animals. Parts of the story could be predictable, but then some twists are thrown in to keep you guessing and engaged!

Look forward to reading other books by this author!!

This book, wow. This book is going to drag you into the story and there is no escaping till the end. It moves along at a pace that is perfect for the flow of the story and the characters, no matter what they need to do, they will do it. You cannot help but be in awe of them. This book is not doing to disappoint you, it needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.
