Zur Mittsommernacht wird Kaiser Illdrian, mutmaßlicher Wahnsinniger und Herrscher der Fünf Reiche, das Zepter der Macht an einen neuen Erben weitergeben.
Es sollte ich sein, Loghann Grenwyld, verlorener Prinz des Reiches. Ich habe mit Zähnen und Klauen gekämpft, um vor Drakkus, dem Herrn des Chaos, in den Hohen Ebenen anzukommen, bevor er meinen rechtmäßigen Platz als Kaiser usurpiert.
Und ich bin mit den magischen Priesterinnen der Reiche und ihren Armeen im Rücken eingetroffen. Wenn Drakkus denkt, ich würde mein Recht auf das Zepter ohne Kampf aufgeben, hat er sich geschnitten.
Aber er ist nicht der Einzige, der mich scheitern sehen will. Die Hohe Feenkönigin Everleigh – Lehnsherrin des unsterblichen Reiches – will auch meinen Kopf auf einem Silbertablett.
Ordnung und Chaos, vereint gegen mich. Zwei Wege, jeder ruft nach meiner Macht, jeder sehnt sich nach meiner Vernichtung. Zwischen den beiden zu wählen, wäre der sichere Untergang.
Also wähle ich beides, Ordnung und Chaos. Ich werde über alles herrschen.

Book 5
I just finished book 5. It was a good ending. I think the hero could have been a little more powered up, maybe? He was fighting some old & ancient foes. Just just seemed liked he never had his together, or always learning on the fly. I mean that's cool, but I would have liked a little more strategic combo defensive moves.

An Excellent Series
Logan has successfully united the realms and defeated the Dark God of chaos in a story that will keep you turning pages. Action, adventure and just enough spice, it was an excellent book to conclude this series.

action bravery and suspense with some enjoyable spice
the hot moments where as hot as you’d like them to be and the plot twists were there and the let’s not forget the suspense ones as well kept me on the edge of my seat I thoroughly enjoyed the entire series

Really enjoyed the series
I love how the adventures ended in this book series. It was fun and incredibly intense at times. I hope this author writes many more books of this genre. The characters were all unique and interesting in their personalities. Kept me reading throughout.

Epic
The novel kept me glued during each chapter. The characters within the novel also continued to impress. I enjoyed how each of their relationships played out as well.

Great Series
The plot was great and well thought out. The story line flowed very well and did not stall out. The characters were very well developed and made for a great read.
