I’ve never been in an abusive relationship but I felt like I’d stepped into one with Trigger Warning. The story really came to life on the page and the emotions felt raw. I hated Robbie.
This isn’t my usual kind of read in fact thrillers aren’t something I usually pick up but I was gifted this audiobook. I couldn’t stop listening to this book and felt fully connected to the story so overall I would say it was a good audiobook.
I was desperate for Lucinda to get away from her abusive husband. The author kept this raw right til the end and I was intrigued how this was going to end.

The narrator, Abigail Stever, was the perfect choice for this book. Her voice captured every emotion with such precision that my mind never wandered. She brought the characters to life in a way that made every moment hit even harder.
This story does tackle heavy themes—particularly domestic violence and abuse—so please check the trigger warnings before diving in. That said, it handles these topics with raw honesty and courage.
Lucinda and Allison are both absolute powerhouses—strong, resilient, and deeply human. And the MMC? Let’s just say justice was served, and it was satisfying.

Wow! Deep, dark and beautifully written!
This is a quick read, that had me at the edge of my seat the entire time. So many raw emotions and intense moments throughout.
You never can truly know what goes on behind closed doors.
The author does an amazing job with the writing of this psychological story. There’s some twists in here that I didn’t see coming!!
I listened to the audio version and the narrator did an excellent job.

I absolutely enjoyed listening to this audiobook and the narrator. This book has some deep content into it so know that before going in. I love how Tina portrayed the story and showed the challenges people can have in their marriage and how sometimes it is needed to get out of it.
This story takes you through all of the emotions. The narrator who did the audiobook really displayed the characters and their struggles. I absolutely enjoyed all parts of the book!

Super quick read. I didn't want to put it down once I started. Domestic violence affects so many and how we deal with it can be very different. What would you do to get away from your abuser? Great book. Highly recommend.
