Haunting Phantom

Rate this book
I spent the better part of my life loving Blake “Phantom” Elliot, Road Captain of the Elm Street Riders MC. Our souls were connected on a level most people would die for, transcending time and space until it just didn’t anymore. Now I’m left following him around like a lost puppy, ruining his life every chance I get. He needs to realize that he’s mine, and any woman who dares to stand between us will surely feel my wrath.

Desperate to get rid of me, he’s called in the help of a beautiful woman, one that not only has him dreaming of a future without me in it, but also turning his head so that it no longer is focused on me. I can’t let that happen!

Loving Phantom is the only reason I lived and breathed, and haunting him had become my sole purpose for existing. Once Autumn is finally out of the picture, I can claim what is rightfully mine, dragging Phantom into the afterlife to suffer beside me, so he can pay for his sins once and for all.

Phantom

From beginning to end I could not put this book down. Guilt is a powerful thing and I fished business keeps you in limbo. This book was very well written and I loved the paranormal feel it has. The characters were great and I can't wait to see what Krugers unfinished business is.

That’s it. I’m addicted to this series. This book was even better than the prequel RUNNING FROM DRAC. Better because although RFD was intense, it wasn’t as satisfying as this one.
The blurb makes it sound like this book is a romance between Phantom (Blake) and a psychic named Autumn. Yeah, they do have a love story, but the star of this show is Eve.
It was revealed that she had Bipolar Disorder, and I really felt for her and for Phantom, because that is not an illness that it is easy to live with, as the person who has it or as someone who loves them.
This book didn’t lean as hard into the Bipolar diagnosis. It focused on how obsessed Eve is with her former boyfriend, Phantom.
The second Phantom lays eyes on Autumn, a psychic brought in he’s a goner. To Eve’s frustration, they are perfect for each other, with the only fly in the ointment being Eve, although there’s a lot that can be done with sage, just saying.
The real love story here, though, is not between Phantom and Eve, or Phantom and Autumn. Heck, Phantom isn’t even . The real love story is Their HEA made me cry. And it takes a lot for a book to make me cry.
At this point, I’m a mess. I loved this book and it is going on my list of all-time favorites because it made me feel and because it was so creative. Ryder writes a story that is heartbreaking and heartwarming in one breath.
Triggers include discussion with some detail of CSA of a teen, graphic violence, attempted SA, language, endangerment of a child, and some straight-up evil that made me turn an extra light on tonight.

I loved Phantom's story. It is a doozy and I really like that it's told from Eve's perspective but mixed with the other characters. Another thing that I enjoyed about this book was the paranormal twist/concept. I think this gives it a unique flair. The storyline is fantastic. The writing is flawless and flows from one page to the next. And the way that the author wrote this I felt like there was more of a connection with the main characters given the context and events that occur. There’s even a purpose for a few specific people in this. And there's some closure and moving on. It’s got action, suspense, twists and turns. Then of course the ending really brings things home. I even got a little teary-eyed with one scene at the end of this with Eve but you'll have to read it to find out. A very good read that I would recommend reading. This is an incredible page turner. I can't wait for more of this series.

I am really loving this series. This is Phantom’s story as much as Eve’s story, just separately. To understand that, you need to read this book. However, before you read this, you need to read Running From Drac. You will meet all the characters and have a better understanding of them all. This is told mainly from Eve’s pov, sprinkled with others. This story is about moving on, healing, unfinished business, heartache, love, suspense, drama, backstabbing some revenge and some twists. I very much recommend reading this. It is another rollercoaster ride, so buckle-up buttercups and enjoy the ride.

This book was phenomenal. Once I started it I could not put it down. Eve and Phantom stole my heart. As their story evolved it played like a movie in my head as I read. It flowed seamlessly. I also loved the paranormal aspects as well. It grabbed my attention and never let go! I have to say tje ending blew me away in the best possible way. A must read for me. I absolutely love this series and this book has become my favorite. I cannot wait to see where Ms. Ryder takes us with this series.

What a treat to read! Eve haunting Phantom was a page turner for me. I needed to find out what she did next in her poltergeisting of Phantom. Some instances made me laugh, others made me sad and a few made me cry. There are twists and for a moment one of the bad guys wasn't such a bad guy. Just a small moment. Good job, Quinn!

This author never disappoints, this story will have you hooked from the first page! It's being told from Eve's prospective, also with others and I felt like she was sitting beside me telling the story, it flowed so smoothly. It has action, suspense, twists and everything in between. Highly recommend!!
