Kendall has never known what it means to truly live.

Raised in a world of illusion, where every truth has been sculpted and every lie carefully placed, he believes only what he's been taught, until the veil begins to slip. When a chain of strange, seemingly unrelated events begins to unfold, Kendall finds himself pulled into a realm that defies everything he thought was real. Words whisper secrets, objects pulse with memory, and the world around him reshapes itself into a vast, living puzzle.

As pieces fall into place, Kendall embarks on a journey that leads him through layers of forgotten history, mystical forces, and a destiny buried deep in time. Haunted by shadows of the past and propelled by forces he cannot understand, Kendall must confront the truth of who he is and the bloodline he comes from. A dynasty long thought lost, hidden behind centuries of deception, is waiting for a spark to rise again.

Kendall is that spark.

In a story woven with mystery, legacy, and the unpredictable turns of fate, Everlasting is a novel where nothing is coincidence, and everything is connected. The truth may be buried, but Kendall is about to uncover a power that will change everything.

Sara Fanfarillo is a fantasy fiction writer whose pen carries with it the freshness and intensity of a young mind but deeply connected to the magic of words.

For her, words have never been mere marks on paper, but real vehicles of thought, tools to shape her imagination.

Her novel “Everlasting,” among intertwining magic and mysteries, reflects a relationship between fantasy and reality. The real focus of the narrative is the journey of the protagonist, Kendall, who will have to make a crucial choice, going through uncontrollable inconveniences and events or giving in to the fear of unpredictability.

“Everlasting” has been recognized with the International Impact Book Awards – Fantasy (2025), the Regal Summit Book Award – Young Adult (2025) and the NYC Big Book Award - Distinguished Favorite Fantasy (2025), receiving significant recognition.

On every page she writes, Sara invites her readers to open their hearts and minds, to experience more than the visible, to believe that, just as in her book, in life as well there are worlds to be discovered where the possibilities are endless.

Don't miss this exciting adventure!

❤️❤️❤️ An Enchanting Dive into Forgotten Worlds ❤️❤️❤️
From the first page, Everlasting pulls you into a story that feels both ancient and urgent. Kendall is a relatable, reluctant hero, and watching him peel back the layers of reality is nothing short of spellbinding. Fanfarillo’s world-building is rich, strange, and beautiful—perfect for readers who love magic with meaning.

Kendall begins Everlasting by Sara Fanfarillo believing the world around him is stable and fully understood. That sense of certainty fades as small inconsistencies surface and begin to repeat. Words linger with meaning. Objects seem to hold memory. What once felt ordinary starts to reveal careful design. The story unfolds through Kendall’s growing awareness that truth has been shaped for him, and that his life is connected to a past far older and more powerful than he imagined.

As Kendall uncovers layers of hidden history and ancestral power, the novel leans into mystery and reflection rather than constant action. The fantasy elements emerge gradually, tied closely to language, legacy, and identity. Fanfarillo’s writing gives space for these ideas to develop, allowing the world to feel intentional and lived-in. The book carries the scope of a much larger story, suggesting dynasties, long-held secrets, and forces still waiting to fully surface.

At its heart, Everlasting is about discovery and choice. Kendall is not driven by ambition or certainty, but by curiosity and the need to understand who he is once the illusions fall away. Readers who enjoy fantasy that builds through atmosphere, symbolism, and slow revelation will find much to appreciate here. This book feels like a strong beginning, one that invites patience and leaves the door open for what comes next.

Four out of five stars.

The writing is beautiful and detailed, making the scenes come alive so that I felt like I was right there with the characters. Each moment was described so clearly. I could almost feel what Kendall was going through as he started to connect the dots of everything happening around him, especially when he meets his magical ancestors. This is a real epic fantasy.

I honestly enjoyed this book more than expected. The main character, Kendall transports you into his world in a unique way and manages to make you explore fantasy themes in a new way that I honestly hadn't found until now. The cherry on top is the concept of the time axes, it totally enriches the story. Truly recommended, it strongly deserves it.

I met Sara in my local Barnes & Noble while she was on her author tour for her debut novel Everlasing. I was astonished to learn that she traveled all the way from Italy, at such a young age, to stand in front of English-speaking locals and sell her book in a second language. Being a lover of fantasy, I was super excited to support her. I absolutely loved her book! It read like an old-style fairy tale, and I loved her play on words. The world felt real and developed, filled with ancient magical lore and secrets. I'm excited for more works by this author and I hope that she dives even deeper into the world she has already created!

Emotionally Resonant and Deeply Moving
"Everlasting" lives up to its name with a story (or message) that lingers long after the final moment. The emotional depth and thoughtful pacing drew me in immediately. It captures the fragility and strength of human connection in a way that feels timeless. A powerful experience that speaks to the heart and soul.

I haven't read this. I don't plan to. The description tells me nothing about the story, and that's why I'm giving this 1 star without bothering to read it. Do better.

This is trying to be too many things. It could have been a good epic ya fantasy but the mix of writing styles just muddled it up. It could have been a engaging intriguing emotional even layered metaphorical read with a bit more focus and editing.
