These forgotten witches aren’t too wicked to fall for.
A coven of shadows with a curse on my heart and my house.
They bake f*cked-up cupcakes in my kitchen and unalive influencers in my front yard.
These men make zombies out of their own relatives, and a panting mess out of their own wife.
The Witchwoods are a violent stain on the world.
Eradicating that blight is worth the dirty, rotten things we do.
With a second coven’s sacrifice, we can close the gate.
Locking the Hag Wytch in her supernatural prison has to be easier with more witches.
Bet nobody wants to help me in exchange for cumcakes, huh?
The Witchwood Boys Did Me Dirty is a reverse harem/why choose romance (meaning one woman with three men). It’s a dark, sensual romantasy with a splash of campy horror. Inside, you’ll find graveyards, romps in dark woods, and confessions of undying love.
C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.
She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She's the author of over thirty novels - romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There's a heck of a lot to do there.
Oh, and Caitlin loves to chat (incessantly), so feel free to e-mail her, send her a Facebook message, or put up smoke signals. She's already looking forward to it.
What is happening right now? I don't think my mental stability can handle the ending of this book. First you make me feel in love with Kate and then we begin to like the witch boys and then in this book we're all in love and taking family and the future and romance and making plans and eating meals together and isn't her grandmother's cookware. But that ending... Literally severed something vital. I love that Kate has embraced her new life. I love the coven of sisterhood. I love the budding tentative friendship building at least between Lo and Tanner. I love lazy breakfasts and Saturday girls only coffee dates. Book 3 was amazing. I loved every word.
It is 1:20 am and I’m speechless. I am so incredibly here for this, this ending made all the depravity worth it. Y’all this series is beyond wild. Pls. Last book comes out in a few weeks 😭
This series has been unexpectedly addictive, especially as RH is not usually my thing! I think the PNR aspect and excellently imaginative storytelling helps.
The books are totally wild, dark, hilariously funny at times, gross, horrific, violent, sickening, romantic, spicy as all hell, and just tragically sad too.
Cliffhangers at the end of each of the three books, but this one was particularly BRUTAL.
Omg I did not think I’d get as attached as I am to these boys. The ultimate sacrifice had me weeping and I’m not okay. I know everything will be okay by the end of the series but only one more book to go and I’m wondering how we’ll get through that ending. Pleaseeeee bring on next month so I get to find out
The phrase “this could have been an email” comes to mind with this book and the second book. They definitely could have been edited down into just 1 book. I don’t know why I’m struggling to finish this series so much, maybe I’m not in the right mood for it but the amount of filler scenes definitely doesn’t help.
OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!!! NO!! That wasn’t supposed to happen! For the love of god they better fix this!! Absolutely loved this ending! Gut wrenching! Tears rolling down my face at 1am!!
OMFG I believed this was a trilogy - was prepared to cut a bitch over that ending, but luckily I came here first and saw people talking about a fourth book. Phew. Edge of my fucking seat here.
I mean, if it was me, and it was repeatedly stressed how little time for anything they have, maybe I wouldn’t worry about painting a house, especially if I can make endless fake money from leaves.
Insanely messy plot. Character interactions were somehow worse though, don’t you worry!
A hallmark of poorly-written why choose is that the author clearly has a favorite MMC and focuses on his relationship with the FMC and the remaining MMCs get lost in the background.
Like what do you mean our FMC confesses her love to one dude, and is interrupted by another dude who confesses his love to her, only to be ignored by the FMC and many many pages of interactions of her thinking ‘oh maybe I should talk to him about his feelings’.
Agonizing pages of Kate thinking that maybe she should communicate with the boys instead of, you know, actually talking with them.
Oh and Tanner’s dad is a serial killer? No conversation about that?
And yet, somehow, Brooks’ character is probably handled the most poorly.

The continuation of the coven's attempts to save themselves and the world that hates them.
The Witchwood Boys Did Me Dirty is the third instalment in the Witchwood Boys series by C.M. Stunich.
This book delves deeper into the coven's efforts to banish the Hag Wytch back to the Witchwoods, whilst also dealing with the conflict of emotions they feel for each other. Compiled with the inclusion of her friendship group becoming a coven themselves, and the persistent threat of the internet, it feels as though Kate and her coven are finally getting somewhere.
This book was better for me in terms of character development and plot development. There were breakthroughs in Kate's relationship with each, individual witch and they finally come to terms with loving one another. The miscommunication trope is still featured, but not as heavily, which makes the interactions between our main characters easier to digest.
One of my criticisms of the last book was the lack of urgency to deal with the Hag Wytch, and thankfully that was resolved (sort of) in this book. We, as readers, were presented with new ways to potentially banish the Hag to the Witchwoods and of course, the coven were unsuccessful in their efforts. I appreciate the fact that the threat feels much bigger in this book, which forces the coven to act and move the plot along.
This series is still as smutty as ever, but now there is some actual substance behind the words and actions of the male witches. The interactions in the latter half of the book were sweet and came across as genuine and I hope the coven can move forward without constantly doubting their feelings.
The ending was the best part of the book and caught me by surprise! It's the prime definition of a cliffhanger but it finally exposes the grave consequence of not being able to put an end to the Hag Wytch earlier, and I hope we can see the resolution of this.
I believe the next book will be the fourth and final, so I will be tuning into the end of this turbulent series.
So Witchwood Boys Did Me Dirty is book 3 in the series, & the story starts to quicken as time runs out and the Witchwood Witches are trying to juggle saving the world, with work, trying to curb the craze of the influencers & Internet and their budding romance. Of course things are never as easy as it seems. The Hag Wytch is hunting them - waiting behind every corner. The Internet is ruthless and set to ruin them. And even if the Witchwood Boys are rough around the edges, and they haven't been together long, Kate is falling for each of her men, and they are falling for her in turn. But will they survive the Hag Wytch and save the world to enjoy their lives together - or will the Hag Wytch tear them apart?
I have really been enjoying this series, and while I think book 2 was a bit slower than the 1st, book 3 picks back up and offers more than just the danger the Witches are in. Between friendship and romance and a mix of cumcakes this book delivers. And I can't wait to see where the final book takes us after that ending.
You’re laughing. It’s 3am, I have to work tomorrow and can’t fall sleep, and you’re laughing? I thought this series was a TRILOGY so I was not expecting the cliff hanger AT ALL. It was so bad, I genuinely cannot deal. I need the ~actual~ last book out like yesterday or I fear my psyche may never recover.
Still having issues re: the plot not plotting enough, but surely book 4 will HAVE to resolve all the loose threads books 1-3 ignored. Right guys? Right?
Slow start. Decent middle. Great ending. It's kinda the same ol' of figuring out what to do with the hag wytch most of the time. Lots of smut. But I like how her friends are included in the story. Would love a little novella for them. The end is impactful and I like the development of their relationship throughout. Ready for the ending!
There was too much to resolve for this to be the trilogy and I thought it was. I skipped to the end and it ends on a cliff hanger. Sadly, the series just isn’t good enough to need another book.
C.M. Stunich. Cate. CAITLINNNNNNNNNN!!!! YOU MA’AM DID US DIRTY! More dirty than any of those hot amazing Witchwood boys! How are you gonna suck us into these three books then Leave us on a freaking cliffhanger like that!?!?!? Oh girl, that’s just mean. And dirty. And mean!! What am I suppose to do while I’m waiting for the fourth book? You may not be able to see me but just know I am definitely giving you the mom look!!
There is unique visual imaginary written to “spell” you into this book that you lose track of time reading. Loved that it has plot lines you cannot predict. CM Stunich pulls you into a whole new world that you just want to be a part of even at the risk of death. Best hate-love book boyfriends ❤️
NOOOO! WHAT THE F***!!! WHYY!!!??? WHY DID YOU HAVE TO WRECK ME LIKE THAT C. M. Stunich??!!?😭😭 Now I have to wait for the next book to know what happens next😭😭😭 I HATE THOSE CLIFFHANGERS😭😭😭
The vibes and the smut are immaculate. Everything else is subpar. The characters are decent enough to like but not deep enough to really connect with. The plot is kinda basic and really boring at times, the stakes just don't feel high enough for me to be invested in what's going on outside of the ritual sex scenes. I skimmed a lot and am utterly bored by the second all female coven. Great idea, cool concept, loving the filthy bits, but everything else has fallen a bit short for me to give this one a higher rating.
Audio. Cum cup cake 🎂 is all I am saying. Continuing the crazy, unhinged, only for adults "fairytale" with witch hats that bloom, bite, scowl or flatten their wolf ears. Spiked with otherworldly creatures roaming the streets and (as before and even more) lots of weird ingredients for spells. Tanner is still my favorite, followed by Marlow and Brooks though I like them all. I wondered about the title, now I know. what a mean cliffhanger!!!
Holy shit. Wtf was that ending. My heart just stopped. I’m so obsessed with this series and characters that I was completely mesmerized. The title yo this book was absolute perfection. I love every interaction with Kate, Brooks, Tanner and Marlowe. These Witchwood guys have definitely became an obsession. I need the next book asap especially how this end. The Queen of Cliffy’s you gave done it again. Truly an amazing read that I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
First off, why did C.M. Stunich do me dirty like that!!!?? Amazing read. I love the characters and story so much. The relationships really start to bloom in this book. I love how they all interact with one another. Add in the witchy stuff, and it's perfect. But that cliffhanger, I don't know what to do until the next book comes out.
OMG, OMG, OMG! WTF just happened! I NEED the next book. I haven't been able to do anything since I picked the first book up, except to READ!!! Fabulous series (crying in my ice cream now :( )
I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH!!! (That ending, C.M., how could you? 😭) With that being said, I love the relationship building. I love that our FMC isn't passive when it comes to acts of love. This series is one of my absolute favorites.
