Nikola Tesla is arguably one of the biggest contributor to the electrical revolution that happened in the 20th century. He is an outstanding inventor, and his patents have transformed the world into a electrical paradise. Tesla is one of the first celebrity scientists, along with his competitor Thomas Edison. Nikola, however, had a odd public image, as he was rather strange and controversial. Tesla had OCD issues, sleeping problems, and theories that were outrageous.
In this book, we will examine Nikola Tesla's personality, character, theories, and wisdom, along with his inventions and patents. The secrets of Nikola Tesla's lives will be revealed once and for all.

I found the biography of Nikola Tesla very interesting to read. School history books will mention his first employer in the United States, Thomas Edison, but Tesla is not as familiar despite his own inventions and patents that contribute to his success. This book is well organized in how it takes a complicated man such as Tesla and examines his background, his interests, his accolades, and his idiosyncrasies that we can better understand today such as OCD and a phobia of germs. He also associated himself with other notable figures of the time including Westinghouse and Mark Twain. I was able to sit and enjoy this books and even understand the electrical concepts that were explained in layman terms. If you want to learn more about 19th century inventors and scientists who shaped our lives in the 20th century, then you will certainly want to read this book about Nikola Tesla, the man who invented the 20th century.
A very short, yet informative biography that gets you the gist of Tesla's genius and idiosyncrasies. Over 700 patents, many of which were either stolen and/or hidden, thereby robbing Tesla of deserved credit and recognition. Teachers out there, educate your students about this incredible contributor many things we take for granted.
For such a small book there is so much information packed inside. It was a great read teaching me about the importance of the over 700 patented inventions of Nikola Tesla. I knew some basic information about him, but had no idea of the scope of his inventions.
It was a free read and I am so glad that I found it on Amazon. I learned so much!
I really liked this little book. I was aware of Tesla, and studied him in school, but I was interested to learn about his relationship with Thomas Edison, inventions that get attributed to other people, his personality quirks, and more. A great introduction.
A decent summary of Tesla's primary accomplishments
This short book serves as a good primer on Tesla. It reads more like a High School term paper than a work of nonfiction, but due to its short length and the facts it contains, provides a good overview of this amazing genius.
This piece is little more than cliff notes of Nikola's life and accomplishments. Having read many books on Tesla's this book provided no new information.
