After her divorce, Hailey Thompson is ready for a new start, and younger sister Holly gifts her the perfect trip to launch her on her new single life—a Caribbean cruise with very…liberal set of rules.
In Embarkation Hank gives us a nice lead in to the story and slow buildup to the action as we get to know a bit about Hailey. There’s a nice tension between Hailey’s uncertainty and her growing desires as she mixes with the other guests and learns just what this lifestyle has to offer.
Once things get hot and bothered Hailey gives herself over to the experience—and that Hank Dolworth heat never disappoints. But it’s more than the heat that satisfies; Hailey is three-dimensional character with real emotions and insecurities to go along with her desires and curiosities. For me it’s Dolworth’s relatable characters that elevate his stories above the high-heat, low-plot offerings that abound in this genre.
In Fair Winds Dolworth continues to provide a good blend of character development and heat as Hailey experiences first ethical non-monogamy and then freeuse aboard ship with a group of happy hedonists. There’s plenty of spicy goodness, but we also get to follow Hailey as she grapples with her own emotions and coming to terms with this very unorthodox lifestyle.
As this is Hailey’s story, the other couples are mostly just supporting cast to shepherd her on this journey. You get the basics of their backstories, but to really appreciate them and their own unique sexy paths into the lifestyle you need to read the other Hank Dolworth series. Definitely time well spent.
In Following Seas the developing relationship between Hailey and Steven is an interesting complication to the pair’s initial plans to just enjoy the freeuse cruise to its fullest potential. Dolworth understands the highs, and the challenges, of polyamorous relationships, and his characters show it. While their actions are the things of spicy dreams, their emotions are very raw and real.
In Island Excursion both cruise ships have arrived at the island, and here we get to share Hailey’s experiences with Steve and the others.
There’s plenty of fun in the sun (and cabanas, and showers, and…), but beyond all the shenanigans there are real bonds and friendships being formed. It’s these relationships that give the whole story a depth that many freeuse reads lack.
The characters as written on the page were fleshed out enough to satisfy the story and anyone new to the series. But having read all of Dolworth’s previous books featuring these characters, it was sometimes challenging not to get pulled into memories of their adventurous backstories.
While this particular adventure has come to a close, I think the Fantasy Unlimited Cruise Line could serve as a fine setting for future adventures with some new characters.

Thanks to Booksprout and the author for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
I have read each of these novellas individually, but this collection goes one step further. There is a large erotic content throughout as Hailey undertakes a voyage of self-discovery within the world of Caribbean cruising. However, there is additional content to the novellas as we are told more about her marriage and how it has shaped her emotions, reactions and self-confidence. This is a well-rounded read: there is adult content within an actual storyline, and this links to Hailey's sister's story in the Stowaway books. The theme of romance and love is threaded throughout as the plot reaches a worthwhile grand finale in the final few pages. Possibly not the last we've seen of this group of loving friends ...

The group of couples that she joins on this trip are very welcoming as they introduce her to group sex, wife swapping in a nurturing and safe way to her explore her sexuality. The series is spicy as Hailey engages in all sorts of wild sexual behavior. Overall a fun and exciting read.

Our heroine needed a break after her divorce and the cruise provided that and a whole lot more. This is the complete four book series in a single volume.
This is a short erotic series with a freeuse theme. The stories are well written and easy to read with straight forward plots that nonetheless form a nice tale throughout the series. There is plenty of steam throughout and that is all good. Overall, this series was a lot of fun and I look forward to more from this author.
