About the author

Hello lovers of apocalyptic thrillers!

I devour the same books I enjoy writing: science fiction, set in an apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic or dystopian world. I love stories about regular people being thrust into extra ordinary circumstances, and having to rely on their own cunning and that of others to survive. And I love a twist at the end.

My just released Ashfall Apocalypse, as well as previous series Madness, Highway and Stone Age are those kind of stories. They're fast moving, have some regular (and amazing) characters who must make life changing decisions, all while the world is experiencing an apocalypse.

Besides writing, my wife and I travel the world (often to research the next book). But often you can find me on a beach, Kindle in hand, with my Toes in the Water (name of my publishing company).

I did enjoy it a lot, and it was definitely different!
Being from Canada ( we have the right to bear arms, )
Just don't know where a person would get all the automatic firearms from and the ammunition.
I will definitely check out some of his other books.

Great read!!

The Ashes of Freedom was right on the spot. You can see this happening. I really enjoyed this and read the whole series this weekend (4 July). Amazing story that makes you really think about our current situation here in the states. As a retired soldier I can relate to many feelings felt by some characters in this series . Highly recommend this series.

I just had to keep reading this box set until the end . Does anyone remember back before 9/11 when there were rumors of terrorist sneaking across the southern borders? This took me back to that, and then forward. really good plot
And some very relevant stuff as well. How quickly our country can be compromised . I recommend this book .

A must read!!

This series is so close to being real it could have been written about what is going on in the world today. Very intense and eye opening. Every time I had a little bit of a break I would read and I had to make myself stop reading at midnight every night so I could get a few hours of sleep. Absolutely Excellent!!

My first read from this Author. If you enjoy Apocalyptic survival thrillers from Authors like Kyla Stone or Sam J Fires this is another author to add to your list. Fast paced narrative with amazing blend of action, heart pounding suspense and emotional drama. Great character development with interesting and relevant back stories. Absolutely plausible and scary storyline. Overall great series, will definitely read other works from M. L. Banner.

I loved the entire series. I love the action of the series at times it was hard to put down. However throughout the series there were many spelling errors tense errors and at times switching pronouns. Proofreading would really be necessary
