While I should've been finishing another book... I found myself falling headfirst into this one. The author’s writing style pulled me in right away. I loved seeing an alternate take on Harry’s story—one where he doesn’t stay with the Dursleys but lives with his godfather instead. The back half turned more worrisome than wholesome, but I was completely hooked by the flashbacks, the distinct character voices, and the romance. I need more from this author, stat.
