This is the second book in the duology and continues directly from Book 1. To fully enjoy Tristan and Alexa's journey, please read Lightning Angel first.

Karen Daliath is a Christian young adult who loves her Creator more than anything. She loved reading since she could remember whether they were stories or interesting news articles. Though growing up, fiction conquered her full attention, and she has now barely time for non-fiction.
Unlike most authors and her own sister, Karen wasn’t a fan of writing until the Covid-19 pandemic. She started her writing journey on Wattpad with fanfictions in 2020 and then made her debut on Amazon in 2022. Now, writing is the second-best, most beautiful part of Karen’s life she can’t live without.
Karen writes closed-door romances, both contemporary and fairytale, through which she hopes to share the love of her Christ. She lives with her younger sister (Katelyn Daliath, author of RED ROSE OF ORDELIA) and her parents. When she is not writing, she is lost in a book to escape reality, singing, having bookish talks with her sister, or helping her mom around the house with cooking and cleaning.
More of her beloved book babies are coming in the future, so make sure you follow Karen on Instagram @kjdaliathauthor
I held off on reading this final book because I loved Lightning Angel SOOO much and I was afraid Lightning Knight wouldn’t live up to the hype in my head (or worse, stress me out terribly while reading, lol), but those fears were banished once I started reading this beautiful, heartbreaking, yet heart healing story of love, loss, and God’s perfect plan and timing in everything.
We hang out in both Alexa and Tristen’s POVs this time around, and I loved that as we got a broader scope of what was going on and also made perfect sense when they had to spilt up. And my gosh the time skips? The time skips of unbearable cruelty?! I was reasonably confident there’d be a happy ending but I kept wondering HOW with all these disasters that kept being thrown at our heroes (and BOY does this author not believe in being nice to them! 😱) but somehow they made it, I made it, and it made the ending that much sweeter.
I love the faith content in this story; it’s never once heavy handed or cliche and it delivers its point and the beauty of salvation and Jesus’s love and timing for us in a way that convicted me and made me even more grateful that I’m not in charge of my life because I’d just royally screw it up, lol.
This duology is beautiful inside and out (have you SEEN these gorgeous covers?! 😍) and I HIGHLY recommend it! A hidden gem in the indie book world and I will definitely be picking up more by this author in the future, though I have no problem in predicting that this series will remain my favorite, heehee. 🤭

This was an emotional conclusion to the duology. It was definitely full of twists and surprises, exploring conflicts of faith, dark paths of revenge, and the power of love. There were some really powerful and devastating scenes, and I enjoyed seeing Alexa and Tristan fight for each other. It kept me hooked, and the ending was beautiful and inspiring. This is a sweet, emotional, tragic yet uplifting YA Christina Fantasy journey, with supernatural elements, and strong soul mate bonds.
I normally like my books with more romance then this one but, seeing as this was a Christian clean romance. It was not my normal kind of book, but I did personally enjoyed reading it.
this one was such a good little book that left me feeling nostalgic, with its sweet and YA elements of romance. It reminded me of the innocent romance books I read when I was younger.
I adored Alexa & Tristan in book one. And I was glad to read their ending, lightning knight was such a easy read, it was well written and I enjoyed how the story played out and the plot of it.
And the epic / soulmate love that was written between the characters really shown, I would personally recommend this book to YA readers and Christians readers, because it has it own unique way to the story.
Going into this book I was super excited to conclude and see where the story would go..yet I was extremely disappointed and I just had a lot of problems with this book to atleast find it an okay read. Looking back into this I don’t know how I didn’t cringe at some stuff in the first book compared to how much I have in the second.. I tried to read through most of the book but with the problems I faced and fighting my lost interest I have to say I skipped lots of pages just to calm by brain with knowing how the story would end…
I know this may seem harsh with how I presented my points but again these are just solely my opinion of the book and this book just wasn’t it for me..
Get ready for an emotional read in a good way. Alexa and Tristan had quite the heart rendering journey throughout the book. Lightning Knight picks up right after the events of Lightning Angel. There were so many twists and turns that kept my eyes glued to the pages. There was so much suspense that I needed to know what happened! Karen did a fantastic job of capturing the characters emotions and struggles. Both Alexa and Tristan had great character development that was well written! The story wrapped up nicely and there were no loose threads. This book is a Christian paranormal romance that never went past kissing. This book was a great conclusion to the Lovestruck Lightning duology!
I volunteered to read an ARC copy of the book and all thoughts are my own.
Literally finished this book in one day! I was literally crying this Duo-logy wrecked me! Wonderfully written and I absolutely adored being able to read a romance that was language free and spice free and having wonderful Christian principles in it to cement the importance of not letting ANYTHING take priority over God. Wonderfully written!
I cried so much. I cried for what felt like 3 chapters (it was probably only two). Man. I feel like sometimes books make me feel because they reveal a little bit of what we are like. I related to these books in some ways, so Alexa's hurt was my hurt. And the parts where Jesus was shown to be merciful and gracious were just the best. I cried about that too.
