As a history professor, I'm used to maintaining strict boundaries with my students. But finding Caleb—my former student and the university's star pitcher—passed out on my lawn changes everything.

I offer him shelter, food, and a truth he desperately needs to he's crying out for discipline. When he asks me to be the one to give it to him, I know I should refuse. But Caleb's innocence calls to the part of me I keep hidden behind my professor's facade—the part known in certain circles only as "Sir Marcus."

As I introduce him to my world of control and submission, another man threatens to unravel everything. Chris knows who we really are, and he wants Caleb for himself. I've never been one to back down from a fight, especially not when it comes to protecting what's mine.

Some lessons aren't taught in classrooms. And some bonds, once formed, refuse to be broken.

This is the second book in the series, but it's not necessary to read the first book to enjoy this one. If you have read the first book, note that this book takes place the following day, after the house party.

Steamy BDSM, college student and professor story - just putting that out there first so you know exactly what type of story this is. It is also an addictive read, absolutely tantalising, seductive and beautiful. Jason Pound does not deliver gratuitous scenes rather he guides us into the world of BDSM with a master, an experienced master who sees in a student one who wants as much as needs to be disciplined, tamed and ruled. The student for his part, sees in his professor, a man who can help guide him, show him, protect him, nurture and care for him. In short they need one another even if they don't quite see it yet.

Michael, Professor Walker to his students and Sir Marcus at the club loves his job as history professor and has worked incredibly hard to gain his current position, a tenured Professor, so he keeps his private life private. Of course that doesn't stop rumours, rumours that reach the ears of one of his best students from the previous term and Chandler University's star baseball pitcher, Caleb.

Caleb is the student the Professor can clearly see is a boy who needs discipline and as much as he sees and knows this he also tells himself it isn't possible. The Caleb comes to him with a request and well, how can he say no to one so keen to learn, so willing and so clearly understanding that he needs the discipline the Professor can instil. Their journey is a short one as this is a novella, but is doesn't feel that way. It feels, passionate, intense, beautiful. The pair are meant for one another, they fit together, they give and take just as each need and the are teacher and student in all aspects of their lives.

Jason Pound is deliberately seductive in his writing but never is there a sense of gratuity, this is all about the true understanding of BDSM and what it can mean, what it does mean, to both parties in a relationship. This is also a College story and we see both men in their 'daily' lives as well as in their personal ones. It feels very real, tangible almost and that is what makes it all the more readable. I can't wait to discover more from this series as it continues.

After the students next door have a wild party, Professor Michael Walker wakes up to a giant mess of red Solo cups and other trash on his front lawn. He also finds a former student and current baseball team player, Caleb, passed out on his lawn. The Professor finds all the disorder...undisciplined. He himself is a master, that is, in his secret life, he is known as Sir Marcus, a Dominant. In Caleb, he recognizes a potential submissive who is in need of structure and discipline. Caleb is intrigued by Michael - both by the BDSM lifestyle and by his sexuality. There are complications, of course - in particular, the fact that both the Professor and Caleb are affiliated with the local men's college and no one can know about what they off in their off hours. But by the end, Caleb is awakened is multiple ways and it is great to see how he flourishes. Love the possessive tropes and Caleb as a character in particular. I did find myself wanting a bit more - more about Caleb, more about Michael + Caleb together when they're not playing their roles (since it gets brought up a couple of times), and perhaps a bit less of Chris. This is a HFN. I enjoyed reading this and I look forward to the next by this author, who consistently writes good stories.

"You need discipline. Structure." I leaned forward, holding his attention. "Control. Without those things, talent means nothing. You have potential, but you're wasting it."

"I realized that I needed that level of control over me," he continued, his voice steady. "It was just like you told me last week— I need discipline, structure, control over my life. I'm a jock, a star pitcher, but I'm also the kind of guy who gets drunk and passes out in people's yards. I need someone to take the reins and show me the way."

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun quick read. I did read the first book, though I admit it was long enough ago that it's a bit fuzzy.

I loved the chemistry and dynamic between Caleb and Professor Michael/Sir Marcus. Caleb was attracted to him, but nervous and since he'd always considered himself straight, a bit confused. Michael was patient and with the attraction mutual, willing to help Caleb figure out his needs. Once BDSM was brought into it, the chemistry between them burned hot. The pushing from Chris added tension. I liked how this ended, but I need to know what will happen next! 5 stars.

Unbroken by Jason Pound is the 2nd book in the Men of Chandler University Series. It is the story of Caleb Greene, the university's star baseball pitcher & former student to Professor Michael Walker "Sir Marcus." Michael lives next to a party house and finds Caleb passed out drunk on his lawn one early morning. Caleb's Coach runs daily past Michael's house. Michael takes him inside, so Caleb will not get in trouble. A spark of attraction begins there. Both men are curious about each other. Michael is active in the BDSM Lifestyle. Caleb hears rumors about Michael and gives him an offer. 😏 This story has heavy professor/student themes from start to finish interwoven with learning the BDSM Lifestyle! Love it! The scenes of Caleb being a *natural* with Sir Marcus...!! 🥵🔥💋 Throw in some possessive-he's-only-mine...yes, please!!

Wow, another brilliant read from Jason and a new trope for me.
When Marcus notices his ex student hungover on his lawn he gives him water and breakfast and a glimpse into a whole new lifestyle. Caleb's grades and focus have been slipping and maybe Sir Marcus is who he needs to take control so that he can refocus himself.

A mm story of a BDSM relationship that goes beyond a Dom and his Boy and shows the impact it can have on a person's entire lifestyle.

I loved the student/professor dynamic and when they progress to Dom/Sub and then to slightly more, it made the story even better. I loved their exploration of each other and watching Caleb bloom under Sir's guidance. I didn't care for the Chris dynamic in the story, but thankfully he was shut down and it appeared without too much drama in the school setting, thankfully.

Unbroken is the second book in the Men of Chandler University series, it can be read as a standalone. This is a professor/student, steamy, age gap read about Michael and Caleb. Jason Pound knows how to pack in a story into a short read and I can't wait for more.
