She takes the relationship between cheese and magic seriously. For example:

“Kitchen knives correspond with swords and ritual daggers, which are used to cut cords or remove psychological blocks. I recommend having a small, serrated blade for tomatoes, a longer serrated blade, for cutting bread, a short paring knife for detailed jobs, and a chef’s knife for heavy lifting.”

Or this, under “Cleansing Your Tools:”

“Simply wash with soap and water, while envisioning all energies and dirt rinsing away. Burn incense around them for additional cleansing.”

Personally, I'll be skipping the rituals and incantations. But to each their own. And after all -- cheeeeeeese.

two things i love - cheese and magic.
I like the way the cheese themed recipes are organized around the wheel of the year. I also really liked the idea of cheese as magic - I love this practical applications of kitchen magic. would love to own this book.

I loved the fact that they dedicated this book to their cat. Great recipes. They are detailed recipes but are simple enough to follow. This made me realize I don't love cheese as I originally thought I did. I do think there are a lot of beginner friendly recipes in here.
